Install it in doorways or hallways quickly & easily using the included no-drill pressure mount system with adhesive wall cups that help protect your walls from damage. Or, use it at the top or bottom of stairs with included hardware (required for safe stairway installation). Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included): drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, measuring tape. They do NOT sell the connector pins so if you lose one during moving, you need to buy a new GATE. That is tough on a family with little ones.

This is the second time we have purchased this gate. We like this gate because it is very easy to operate and we really like the auto-close feature. We have another gate that is not auto-close and it's a little finicky to close. With our second gate, the plastic inserts that the extension pins slide into were installed upside down so the extensions couldn't be installed, but I was able to carefully pry them out and flip them to the correct direction without damaging anything.

I received this deco walk-thru gate as a gift & unfortunately had no return information. When trying to build one of the corners is damaged and am unable to use the extension pins. Customer service states they cannot help me & now have a gate that is not usable :( Was so looking forward to using this gate but now useless.

We have a puppy who is still learning to do his business outside and this gate is extremely helpful in the training process. It keeps him in the room with us and under supervision, while also looking nice and allowing airflow into the room. Love this gate and would highly recommend!

Perfect for confining our new puppy to the kitchen/family room area. Easy to install. Easy to use. Just push the button, lift the gate and open it. Easy for my young grandchildren to use too. This was an addition to two other extra tall walk thru gates previously purchased. Its a bonus too that Summer stocks parts as one of the other gates, that was not used for years, was needing the pins that connect sections together. That was easy ordering and quick delivery as well.

Very nice looking, good quality baby gate - I do wish the opening was a bit wider though. Would make carrying baby and all of the diaper bags/toy bags, etc. out the door.

Put the gates up today after receiving them on time. Looks lovely. I purchased two of these and one 6ft gate stated to be bronze. It’s not it’s brown. These however are a bronze grayish. One gate this size was a bit bent. But with some do managed to work.

We just bought this gate to keep our great granddaughter from falling down the stairs. The install went easily and quickly and it is quite sturdy and looks great! Then we discovered we had forgotten about the cats whose litter box is downstairs on the other side of the gate! Rather than take the gate down and return it - we took the smaller left-over panel and the larger panel down to a local welder who modified the larger panel with a pet pass through. A bit of touch-up paint and a re-install and it works great - and looks great!

This product appears sturdy and the install went quickly. There are two things that need to be changed in the design. The gate is a bit too narrow and needs to be removable when the gate is not in use. The second is that a pass-through needs to be designed in for the pets that have to get through to their litter box.

Great strong gate that closes on its own in proper position or remains open if opened wide enough. I like when it closes behind me a sound strong and sturdy. I do not have to check if it is closed, I can tell by the thump. Really like that look of this gate. get compliments from all visitors.

We have been using this gate for 4 years at the top of our steps and has been flawless. It is very sturdy and holds up well. The kids didn’t figure out how to open it until they were about five years old. Walk-through gate is very handy and much safer on stairs. The finish looks great and held up well. Great for wide areas.

We purchased this gate over 10 years ago and it has been AMAZING. It lasted through 6 young children opening and (not so gently) closing it numerous times per day. The plastic door stopper just now broke but I was happily surprised to find a replacement part on this website for a very affordable price. Thank you Summer Infant for manufacturing such a reliable gate. It has kept our babies very safe!

It is very very heavy. We had trouble installing it and found it difficult for one person. Two had to stop to work on it. Would not recommend it.

I measured from the plastic that sticks out till the knob where the door turns is 16” wide. I tried to comment the response I got from the company but didn’t know how to respond. They claim it’s 19” wide but I can prove it’s not correct.

I love this gate but my only issue is that it does not stay open. It would be really helpful if I could get it to stay open when I bring laundry through.. I have it in white and really nice looking. I use this gate for my dogs. I do not have infants. So I would suggest when using it for dogs it would be helpful if they could make it stay open and a foot release would be awesome. I do like the holes on the bottom I just discovered that I can put my foot in it to open the gate when my hands are full. Unfortunately I still have to press the button..

I like the quality of the product but not the functionality. It’s too narrow and I already got hurt from the plastic that sticks out on the side while going down the stairs.
