I bought the kettle and toaster approximately 2-3 years ago. Love the look but thought the toaster was a bit flimsy when I first tried it out. Now the lever will not stay down! Not impressed! Annie

Toaster is pretty (we love the kettle and had to get matching toaster). However it quickly turned into a dud. Smoked and burnt often. Our smoke detector was constantly going off. We cleaned it often to assist. However recently a bigger (safety) issue arose. It no longer turns off! The toasted bread will pop and bread will be removed but the toaster stays on! The coils don’t automatically turn off anymore and stay continuous even after the bread is removed. We have to say goodbye now as this is a major risk.

Toaster is not well made, the inside mechanisms are flimsy and the lever to lower the toast was crooked and difficult to lower and make stay down. Also, the biggest issue is toasting an english muffin which requires unplugging the machine and sticking a fork of knife into the slot to grab the muffin because the rack is too low to bring the muffin to the top of the toaster. I was looking to upgrade my cheap toaster for something that would hopefully be an improvement but it's way worse.

Very pretty toaster however it’s large and bulky. It also smells like burn all the time. The toast gets stuck sometimes on the metal piece in the slots. Im thinking about returning it

Really good looking toaster. Kind of large for a 2 slice toaster but visually very appealing. It takes quite a while to toast bread, like over 2 minutes for the light setting. also it gets REALLY hot like hard to even grab your toast cause the entire toaster is metal. also the knob on ours is slightly lower on one side and it really bugs me. toasts well.. but yah.. some things to be aware of.

This toaster is a major upgrade from the last one I had - it's so easy to clean out crumbs and get the perfect toast on bread or a bagel. It's also beautiful so I like keeping it on the counter and saving storage space in my cabinets. Will definitely be adding more items from the Nordic collection to my kitchen!!
