I've been asked to get my probiotics in since they help with a variety of things - gut, digestion, mood, immunity, stress, mental health, and a lot of other things. These pills are easy to take, they aren't that big, and I find it has no aftertaste. I love the inclusion of FOS (prebiotic fructooligosaccharides) which feeds the probiotics and in turn, makes them thrive. I’m an endurance athlete with a very sensitive gut that gets stressed daily from my training regimen. I’m very cautious and careful about the nutrition and supplements that I use, so this product intrigued me since it is a straightforward probiotic. I am about a little over 20 days into the 30-day supply and overall I feel it has been a positive experience. More importantly I have not experienced any negative side effects. During my trail, I had some extremely long and highly stressful days at work, a vacation that involved an unhealthier diet, and some hard workouts. My stomach felt very good despite my irregular schedule. I normally have three or more daily bowel movements with bloating and gas. I believe my stomach has felt much more comfortable and most days I only had two productive bowel movements with solid stool. My gut normally feels very distressed during my several weekly training runs and I can say that my stomach has felt very solid since I started taking this prebiotic. With that being said, I did overindulge on a few meals during my vacation and my digestive system was compromised as a result. I do feel like I got back to feeling stable within a day though and I think this probiotic aided in that being possible. One huge plus of this probiotic is that it does not require refrigeration. This made it really easy to bring it with me on my flight across the country so I could continue to take it daily. The pills had no flavor and were very easy to swallow. Each pill is individually packaged and very easy to push through the foil. My biggest complaint is that there was no information on when I should take the two daily pills. Perhaps it does not matter whether both are taken in the morning or night, or if one pill is taken in the morning and the other in the evening. If that was the case, I think it would be informative of Swanson to either mention the best time to take the pills or say that the timing does not matter. I ended up taking two before bedtime since I figured I would have very little stress on my digestive system while sleeping. Overall, I would say that this product is certainly worth a try for any male looking to improve their digestive health. I normally take probiotics and when I received these I was surprised to see they included Saw Palmetto. I really liked the overall feel of these probiotics. I was regular while taking these, minimal bloating, and I slept better! I was impressed with the focus on men's health. The packaging was nice. Foil pop out packets I took every morning. I do feel like they last longer when they are packaged this way... but the simplicity of a jar is ideal. However, I didn't mind this type of packaging. I’m honestly not sure if I’ve noticed any sort of benefit from the product. It’s possible that I have had some more energy. I pretty consistently don’t get enough sleep and usually feel tired. My sleep schedule has remained the same, but I don’t think I’ve been as fatigued these last few weeks. The main thing that I have noticed is that it messed with my gut. Nearly every day I’ve had a mild feeling of my guy roiling that no amount of trips to the bathroom have fixed. The packaging is nice and it’s easy to pop them out. In that time I would say they have had an overall positive impact on my health. Let's start off with the initial impression with this product. First, I love how easy the capsules are to remove from the blister packaging. Some pills and capsules are a real pain to remove, but these are super easy to pop out. That may not be a big deal to most people, but it's a big plus for me. The capsules are a little on the larger size. I'd like it if they could be condensed down just a bit. Taste-wise...there is none. Sometimes these things can be a bit bitter, or some sort of "off" taste. But these are good in that they have no flavor, which is to be expected. Now for the function. I would say that this product has certainly improved my digestive health. Bowel movements are more frequent, but not in a bad way. I'd say it's more regular now. I love that the pills are not overly large and are easy to swallow. This probiotic helps support prostate, immune, and digestive health. It has a very high count of cfu which is something I typically look for (35 billion). It's gluten free and non GMO which is a huge plus as well. It comes with 60 count, quite frankly wish it was 90 but 60 is typical. The serving size is 2 which is not too big of a deal but wish it was all in one tablet. That being said, these little pills definitely work a wonder - thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try these probiotics out! Each day, you take two easy to swallow caplets each day (they pop out very easily from the packets) and you're on the go! The effect of these little guys is definitely subtle, but when I think about things, I find myself a bit less gassy and my stools passing a bit easier each day - I don't have to push as hard as I used to, and that probably comes from the 13 different strains of probiotics. I still find myself having a bit of gas still, but it definitely does help. Versus other competitors, it's well priced and good value, so I would definitely recommend this to anyone else who's had gastro issues in the past, friends included!
