Stops working after first solution bottle runs out

I wish I could give zero stars. Have had the power mop for maybe two months used one bottle of solution- got a new bottle come home and replace it now the mop won’t work. I’ve tried all different batteries, nothings clogged, wasn’t dropped, just faulty. Don’t waste your money I should have just got a spin mop

Had three and the first 2 broke after a few time I used it. Third one never worked from the beginning. The solution left my tile floors sticky. Do not recommend it.

We're sorry to hear this, and want to assure you that we have many quality checks to ensure you get the best. If the PowerMop has never dispensed, it may need priming. Hold the button on the handle for several seconds until spray comes out of the nozzle; you may need to squeeze the solution bottle gently while pressing the spraying button. We also recommend to try fresh batteries as well as making sure the battery door is closed all the way until it clicks. As for your floor being sticky, if you have used another cleaner on the floor recently, or the floor is new, that may cause this. Going over your floor a few times should fix it. You make a good product but for a man it has one fatal flaw. It is not made for the average man to use. The overall length it was too short for a six foot man to use comfortably. After bending over to use the product as designed back fatigue and soreness are guaranteed.

The original mops with the purchased power mop were fine have since bought 2 boxes of mops one with the mopping solution the other a 5 mop head box the neither performed as said, the first one there was no sticky for attachment the second when pulling the protective cover off the mop it pulled all of the adhesive with protective cover

Don't waste your money. Huge disappointment. The 300+ scrubbing strips aren't doing the scrubbing. YOU ARE DOING THE SCRUBBING. And now you are lugging along a heavy bottle of spray cleaner with you. The plain old light weight wet swiffer is much better.

I purchased the power mop about 8 months ago and was pleased with the performance. I changed the batteries a couple of times and continued working fine. However it totally quit and changing the batteries, cleansing jets, putting in a new bottle solution and still didn’t work. I think less than a year is not a good sign.

I was very excited to get the Power Mop, since I use other Swiffer product. But this is feel like it could have been made taller. I am 5'2 and the power mop is too short for me, putting me in an awkward position causing my back to ache. I wish there were an option to extend the handle a few inches.

Unreliable product.

I was so excited to use the Swifter Power mop on our new Luxury Vinyl floors. For the first 5 months it worked great. Then the next time I went to use it, it wouldn't spray. I trouble shooted the problem - I replaced the batteries, bought a new replacement liquid floor cleaner and made sure it was inserted properly, made sure the power button depressed freely, and made sure the sprayer nozzles were free of debris. I went onto the Swifter website and found I needed the UPC code from the box, and the receipt to get the money back guarantee, which of course I threw away after a few months. But more importantly it had to be mailed in within 30 days so I am unable to get my money back or a replacement. So disappointed in this product. So be aware of this unreliable product.

Only one spray nozzle worked and it did not really spray it did more of a leak or drip out of nozzle when you push the spray handle. Also did not like the smell of the cleaning liquid. I have been so happy with my other swiffer products but not this one. I do like the mop pad, itself. i am just going to have to figure how to use it on my regular swiffer handle...

I really like my swiffer power mop. I’ve seen the reviews my pad stick on fine whether they’re the reusable or they’re the disposable. The only problem I have found when mopping and bending down to low places sometimes the battery compartment does pop out of place you gotta pop it back in, but besides for that, I am in love with my power mop. I love the smell. I love that there’s several different smells different pads. My batteries are still lasting in the original that came with it. I’ve had my power mop for about four months now and I can honestly say I like it. I would love it if not for the battery compartment. That’s why I took a star away I give it 4 for sure

Disposable pads don’t stay on!

Love the scent and the cleaner works great but the disposable pads won’t stay on, frustrating. Poor design on the bottom of the mop itself looks like some sticky rectangles that you attach the disposable pad to. The pad has two pull off stops and that adhesive is very poor.

Lacks attachment of bottle in cradle.

The solution bottle will not stay in the slot. Every time I want to spray it, I have to push the bottle down and press the button on the handle at the same time. Sometimes the bottle actually falls out onto the floor.

We're so very sorry to hear about this, Patti. With our quality checks, this isn't what we expect especially if the cardboard is remove. If you have not done so already, check the silicone cap, and If the cap is bulging, try unscrewing/rotating the purple cap counterclockwise by 180 degrees. After this step, tilt the bottle on its side for 2-3 seconds to check for liquid leakage. If there is no leakage, insert the bottle into the device. If there is leakage, move the bottle upright, screw back on 180 degrees or rotate clockwise to reclose. Retry the insertion into the device.
