It's safe for sealed granite and marble floors. Contact the manufacturer of the floor for any questions or test on a hidden area of the floor before use. Use only on sealed, finished flooring. A: This can be used on porcelain tiles as long as the floor is sealed. We have not tested Swiffer WetJet on limestone. If the floor is completely sealed, test first in a hidden area for 24 hours before use to ensure no damage to the surface. If the floor is not sealed, do not use it.

A: We can assure you that our products have been thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. We suggest that you allow the floor to dry completely before allowing your child onto the floor only because wet floors can be slippery.

A: We can assure you that our WetJet has been tested to be safe for use on finished hardwood and bamboo floors. This product shouldn't be used on unfinished, oiled, or waxed wooden floors.

Q: Can the solution from this bottle be poured into a different mop? I have a mop I like with a container that squirts the cleaning solution similar to the swiffer wet jet mop.

The Wood Floor Cleaner Solution has left streaks and a dull finish on my finished hardwood floors multiple times. Each time I've had to go over with a damp cloth to get rid of the streaks & dullness. I've also tried going over the floors with a warm damp cloth thoroughly before using the Wood Floor Cleaner, but I'm still left with streaks and a dull finish. I'm not going to use a cleaning product that makes me have to clean twice as much.

I don’t know what’s changed about this product, but my floors are so slippery. My daughter keeps slipping and falling, and my husband hurt his knee, slipping on the floor. I have bare feet this evening, and even I am slipping. It’s like it’s Wax or something. It’s terrible And dangerous, and I need to get it off of my floors.

We have many quality and safety checks in place, so we would not expect this when used as directed. Swiffer Wet Cloths and the Swiffer WetJet are designed not to leave a residue. The ingredients are water-based, so we wouldn't expect a slippery surface once the floor is dry. It sounds like you have used these before, but we would make sure that your floors are suitable. Swiffer should not be used on unfinished, oiled or waxed wooden floors or non-sealed tiles. We’d also make sure the floors are dry before walking on them. This should only take 5-10 minutes. Also, if another product was used on the floor before using Swiffer, such as a product designed to increase shine, this could be the cause of a slippery floor. Do not recommend the quick-dry formula. I have been using my swifter wet jet mop for years and never had a problem. I have beautiful hickory wood floors. This new formula left my floors dull without any shine and left a smeary film across them. It must be something in the new quick dry formula that causes this. Very disappointed. I am hoping to be able to get their shine back. There is something wrong, there are too many people having the same problem. Please don’t respond to me with same “rigorous testing was done”. Please just tell me how to get my shiny floors back.

These work pretty well for cleaning our wood floor. It’s engineered and water resistant but I would not use a traditional mop on them. I do think the cleaner and pads are gentle and do a good job cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a little powerhouse and amazing for all different jobs. We use this to clean up messes every day, our floor always looks like I just spent hours mopping it. I love that I can spray for any really tough messes, but we rarely have to use more than a few sprays in the whole house. This thing puts in the work, we love it!
