[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was actually in the market for a light bar before this was presented to me for review. I was looking for a light bar to improve visibility at certain times, and with so many options on the market, prices range from very affordable to extremely expensive. While I've heard good things about some budget-friendly off-brand options, I've often found that i regret it in the end when going that route. Although I didn't have the budget for a high-end brand, I trusted Sylvania, a well-known name that I've had positive experiences with in the past. So far, this light has exceeded my expectations in terms of both brightness and design. I've driven through several rainstorms, and so far, no moisture or water has gotten inside the light. The breather design seems solid, but I'll keep an eye on it to ensure it stays clean and continues to perform well. Since this is my first light bar, I can't compare it to other brands, but I can confidently say that this light bar will not disappoint. If you need more light output, simply add more lights to your setup. I t was very easy to install and required very little knowledge prior trying. I think anyone with basic handy abilities could do this with no problem.

As a result, there has been a drastic change in the distance that I am able to see ahead of me while driving on the many dark backroads around Virginia Beach. I drive a 2005 Dodge 2500 truck. And this provides more light than my headlights on period. Beats high beam and low beam. I can completely turn off my head lights and see better.

I have a bigger bar up top of my jeep but having this second light mounted by the hood gives me the option of choosing which one is best at the moment. It has good depth and I have great visibility on the sides as well. Similar to having fog lamps on any other vehicle. This is great for spotting anything that moves not just onward ahead of you but on the lateral view as well. I love the construction and the hardware included. This is all heavy duty and great to have.

Only complaint is that the instructions could be more clear for those of us who are not as technically experienced in these kinds of installations. Still, highly recommended.
