T-fal 2qt Saucepan with Lid, Platinum Nonstick Cookware Gray: Tempered Glass Lid, Stainless Steel Handle, Dishwasher-Safe

I bought these pans because they are "metal utensil safe". However, the pans scratch if you use the metal utensils provided with the pans even when used gently. The utensils are sharp to the touch and easily scratch the non-stick surface. They also easily scratch on the outside. They should not be advertised as metal utensil safe.

My husband and I received these pans as a wedding gift. We noticed after using a pan with the metal utensils provided that the non stick coating was flaking and peeling off. No big deal we would just stop using metal utensils and that pan won't get used. But another pan untouched by metal also ended up having the non stick coating flake off. These pans looked like they were a great quality but I'm disappointed that within a few weeks of using them they were falling apart. I also never put these pans in the dishwasher, just washed with a sponge in the sink.

The set comes with three metal utensils, but I'm hesitant to use them, even though these are supposed to be metal utensil safe. Overall, this is a beautiful set that's nice to cook with.

The non-stick coating makes washing so easy whether or not you use the dishwasher, which is always a major plus for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my last T-Fal pan FOREVER, but I let a friend borrow my stove for game night and he decided to scorch the bottom of my pan something fierce... it's still non-stick, but I decided to just get a whole new set and let him have that one since he doesn't have many pans. So glad I did, this set is amazing! And it even comes with some utensils that I could gift to my same friend (I'm hoping if I give him enough stuff he won't want to experiment at my house).

Metal seems very good quality I don't think it will warp like some cheaper quality pans tend to do. My family is very hard on cookware, they tend to want to cook everything on high. I feel like these may be able to stand up to the mistreatment my cookware sees .

These pans let you know when they're hot/preheated and I absolutely am in love with the fact that they can be used in the oven!! These pots/pans are easy to clean and I haven't had any experience with food sticking to them. I also love that this set comes with covers for all of the pots and pans, along with three serving/cooking utensils. The only negative thing I would say is that these utensils should not be used on these pans as I have noticed a little scratching on them from the utensils. I would definitely recommend this set and brand to anyone looking for a new cooking set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pots/pans have been working really well so far. The do exactly what they are supposed to and clean up very nicely in the dishwasher. Always a pet peeve of mine but the frying pans do not have lids! Why is this still a thing? The frying pans are by far the ones that are in most need of a lid. The lid for the large pot doesn't fit them either. Very disappointing. The frying pans are also a bit small. Like this set a lot. The pans are light weight, easy to maneuver and clean and the nonstick surface seems very durable. Good selection of sizes. I'm always wary of Teflon based cookware since the coating eventually comes off no matter the quality, price or how careful and dedicated you are to following the manufacturer's directions. It's inevitable and with some of the research and studies go to show how this stuff is not very good for you I'm really hesitant. Having said that however, the ends, for me, justify the means. I'd rather consume minute quantities of Teflon over time compared to lots of oil and grease every day. Non-stick is just one of those things that is very useful when cooking certain foods if you don't want to add a lot of fat. I've gone through a few T-Fal pans in the past and however careful I try to be, it eventually sticks. Cooking on low heat, preheating first, non-scratch utensils, a bit of oil, no abrasives when cleaning, don't stack the pans, cleaning right away, etc all help. I find this to be a perfect price point for replacements. The pans are especially useful since that's what I use to fry all the time. Cutting down on the oils and fats helps me stay healthy. I don't put it in the dishwasher either even if this is dishwasher safe. Overall, a great product!

My kids ruin all the pans because they use forks in them.( Yes I tell them about it all the time) These ones didn't scratch yet. Hopefully they last longer then my others

I always love to have a nice set of nonstick pots available. This is a good brand with great products. I say it’s a definite buy.

The set comes with all the pans you need as well as extras like lids and utensils. It's comes with 4 pans that are made deeper allows for easy cooking, and it included 2 pans more shallow for frying. Each pan comes with a corresponding lid that fits securely and vents. Now if that was not enough, the set also come with 3 cooking utensils that include a spatula, a scooper, and a slotted scooper. So as for the working capabilities, it has a great non-stick surface that allows all items to keep from burning. The pans also allow you to cook in the oven for up to 500 degrees. This set is literally everything you will need to cook small meals or nice big family meals. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the nonstick Tfal endurance set. It has a wide range of skillet and pot sizes to cook with and enjoy. So far I have made steaks, soups, grilled cheese and a variety of foods in this set and it doesn't miss a beat. I love the feel of the cookware. It isn't too heavy. It is durable. The color changing indicator is a great tool to know your pan is heated up. My only concern is I don't believe the claim with the metal utensils. I used the included metal utensils in one pan to test it out and was sad to see surface scratches after a couple of uses. I don't think the coating would hold up to more. I wish the steel handles had a soft covering. The set however is awesome but you have to treat it like traditional Tfal.
