A: The compressor will shut off once the desired temperature is reached and restart as necessary. Meanwhile, the fan will continue to run to circulate air throughout the room. Alternatively, you can switch the unit to ECO mode, where the fan only operates when the compressor is running. The unit is mechanically great. It’s strong, quiet and does a great job doing what it’s intended to do. That, however, is offset by the cheap and subpar electronics that makes it possible. The controller board corrodes constantly and stops the unit from functioning properly. The buttons don’t work or they’re stuck in a perpetual cycle. It’s inexcusable to have this kind of issue with a product like this.

This uses and unbelievable amount of power. My power bill went up by $100 running this unit. It works great, ice cold. Hope you can afford to use it!

This thing is a BEAST! I went from a 5k to 10k BTU AC and I don’t sweat in my sleep anymore. Don’t listen to the bad reviews this thing works if not defective by manufacturer!

Compared to my old AC this one is slightly less noisy but at a reasonable level. I have two bedroom and it has a strong airflow to go around and cool my whole apartment. I love the eco button to help with the energy Efficiency and overall I’d highly recommend this AC unit for small apartments

It’s louder than my living room ac or fans. Also makes a cracking sound from inside and has a strange smell on. Even on lowest fan setting and speed still too loud.

I am so glad I was able to try this because I needed a good air conditioner for a while now, and this one fits the picture. This air conditioner works really well. It comes with a remote control so you can control it from anywhere in the room which is real convenient. You can either use this just the regular way or using the sleep mode, the eco mode or the 24-hour timer. This TCL Window Air Conditioner really cooled off my downstairs in no time at all. I don't have any complaints when it comes to this air conditioner, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a new air conditioner and who wants to cool a room down in no time.

It isn't extremely heavy and bulky, which made it easier to install in my window. It comes with a nice remote control. For even more convenience, I hooked it up to my Amazon Alexa. I'm extremely happy with this product. It cools almost my entire downstairs, and rather quickly, too! (With the help of our ceiling fans to help distribute the cool air.) It's also pretty quiet. I would absolutely recommend this air conditioner to anyone who is looking for a smart cooling unit.

It provides an incredible amount of cool in a very short time. Powerful fan. A little noisy but not uncomfortably so. Really pleased with it. Upon turning it on, I expected the noise level of this unit to be on the louder side, considering it's size (10,000 BTU) but it's no louder then the smaller units on the market! This unit also comes with a remote, and the wifi accessibility is also an amazing bonus, which makes the unit capable of being linked to Google Home, Alexa, Echo, and such. The instructions to do so are very easy to follow, and it is great to have options on how you can control the unit. Having the unit connected through wifi you can operate the unit with your phone no matter where you are! How great is that!!! You can turn the unit off and on even if your away from home! Comes in extremely handy in the busy lives we all have! I'm sure we have all left home for the day or to run errands and forgot to turn our A/C's on. No need to worry about that now! Just use the TCL app or which ever app you chose to use to link your unit and TADA! JUST LIKE THAT, YOUR HOUSE WILL STAY COOL AND BE COOL WHEN YOU ARRIVE HOME!! This unit definitely gets 5 stars and endless thumbs-up 👍 !

Unlike a lot of ACs I have had in this past, this TCL model has a nice compact construction with a near flush face that doesnt extend too far past the window mounts. It operates relatively quiet and cools my kitchen like nothing I have used before. Highly recommend grabbing one of these if you can!
