TDC Games Senior Moments Board Game for the Whole Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions for this game are a bit confusing. It did take a while with some trial and error to figure things out. Once we started, the game was fun and provided many laughs. We played with our 70 year old parents and 89 year old grandmother. They enjoyed the game and thought the part that required memory helped to keep them on their toes.

There were lots of laughs wrapped up in the competiveness that ensued. It took a bit to get off of the ground - the directions were either too wordy/complicated, or didn't address some of the questions about playing that arose. However, once we got our feet wet and worked through some of those issues, Senior Moments is a very enjoyable game for a large group (there are 8 of us!) There are a lot of opportunities to be strategic, and that added to the competitiveness and interest in the game. I think the first night we played for almost 2 hours BY CHOICE, not as we would with a game like Monopoly that forces the time it takes to complete. Definitely recommended as an addition to the game shelf, not only for families, but also for friends to enjoy the night together!

I have to admit we did get a good laugh out of some of the members ability to remember certain words but all in all we agreed that the game was rather boring. We played for about an hour and gave up. I played with my 70 year old aunt and enjoyed it thoroughly because not only it helps with memory but it was a good conversation starter and led my aunt to think of various other memories and stories that I did not know. we bonded and we laughed. I plan to play with my dad who is 84.

While we stumbled our way through the game, we decided that had it been equipped with better—less confusing instructions, it could be pretty fun. It's a good memory game. We had fun playing in spite of the instructions!

We broke this game out at a family barbecue and played it with my Parents, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. We were rolling and laughing so hard, we were crying. It was fun to see who could remember the 5 words on the list! Let me tell you , it wasn't always the older ones who couldn't remember...it was all of us! I think we were just laughing so much, we were side tracked! This game is proof that we ALL have our senior moments. Honestly, it was a blast for all of us and was awesome to find a game so inclusive!
