Purchased as a gift and had zero idea what to expect. Such a fun card game! Literally could play for hours. This is great for those who enjoy trivia games and have a great poker face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Game of Baloney is a fun and easy game to play. My friends and family liked the baloney shape of the game and the questions are fun to ask. It comes with enough questions to play a few times. I am not too keen on the concept of becoming a better liar.

I have a home full of young humans and I will say that the age recommendation is spot on with needing to be 8+. Only my oldest, who can read, was able to play this as the directions state. We did find an easy way to modify it so that my younger two could join in but they quickly lost interest. I think it will serve our game nights well in about 5 years but right now it is too trivial for my husband and I to play and not yet able to serve my 4 and 6 year old. As far as adults playing it, I don't see myself grabbing this first when friends are here for game night. It will likely get played since it is not something we have heard of before but I think it will only make it one round. I could see us playing it more in our 20s but that might just be me. It's going to get used and I love how it comes in a tin that will store nicely.

We couldn't tell if we were telling the truth, a lie, or a whopper. By the time we finished, it was almost impossible to win! We are looking forward to play with 6 people because we believe it will be even more fun!

The Game of Baloney board game sounded like it would be perfect for our game nights so we were excited to give it a try. Basically, you are given a card to read with three option on it. (truth, small fib, whopping lie) You have to decide whether to tell the truth or not and others have to determine whether you are actually being honest or telling a lie! The premise of the game is easy for adults and older children to understand. The better liar you are, the better your chances are of winning! It's a fun game to play for sure but isn't one that you can play over and over again with the same groups of people. After awhile, you could easily remember the answers to the cards and it wouldn't be as fun. However, if you rotate out different games and groups of friends to play with, this one is sure to be a hit! Who doesn't love trying to uncover a lie?
