This ThermoPro TM01W Kitchen Timer came well packaged and easy to set up. It came with a battery and that was easy for me to put together. I love the background light it has and the features on its display. It’s easy to use and the alarm is kinda loud. I love it as it helps me coordinate my cooking if different dishes at the same time. I love the fact that I can place it to stand on its own in the counter top or place it on the fridge or microwave.

Great kitchen timer. I appreciate the backlit clock and the countdown timer. The volume on the timer is easy to hear, even from a distance. I have put this clock to use in the kitchen when I am cooking multiple dishes and the timer on the range is already in use. But my favorite use for it is when I set the countdown timer until my kids bedtime. They can all easily see the digital read-out for how much time remains, and when the timer goes off there is no arguing about staying up just a few minutes longer!
Nice timer but lowest ring setting is way too loud.

If you are looking for a well built timer with a loud ring then this is for you. However, if you got sleeping babies in the house this timer may not be a good fit. Even at the lowest ring, this thing is louder than our screeching smoke detector and it can be heard 3 rooms over.

I have a ThermoPro instant read thermometer, which is great. This digital timer seems equally well built but even at the lowest volume setting, it is way too loud to use in a kitchen. The noise bounces off of all the hard surfaces and the tone sounds way too similar to our smoke alarm. It's a bargain at $10 but will have to go back because it won't suit our family's needs.

Simple to use. Everything is pretty straight forward. I use it when I'm making more than one dish at once.
