Can't get the outside temperature to read. I have read all of the directions and done the troubleshooting but nothing is working. The inside temperature works well and is reading the same temp as our built in home thermostat. That is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

This thermometer was pretty easy to set up; my spouse has it in his basement office, because the room is often much colder than the rest of the house. The numbers are clear to read; the only drawback is that it doesn't measure humidity, so I will find a different option for the office.

I received this Wireless indoor/ outdoor thermometer for free from the Hey, Bullseye sampling program in exchange for my honest review. In our home we have several different indoor/ outdoor thermometers. Most of them are the size of a hardcover book and do more than just show the temp. I really wanted a smaller one to keep in the kids bathroom that was simple to read. Everything is included in the package to set it up. It comes with batteries for both the receiver and sensor. I was disappointed in the size of the receiver. I wanted something a little bigger so that I could see the numbers from a distance. This is a very small unit. The unit is as tall as a tube of lip balm. On the back of the sensor unit there are different ways to mount the sensor. There is a hole to mount on wall, a magnet, and a kick stand. It has a very stable bottom and we placed ours on a ledge in the bathroom as is. The sensor is a little wider than the receiver. I had a little difficulty putting the batteries into the sensor. You need to use a little force to pull the tab to insert the batteries. I placed my sensor in between a window and screen that faces North/ East and gets no direct sunlight. There is no set up, as soon as you put the batteries in the receiver, it picks up both the indoor and outdoor temps. The numbers are bright but the plastic display reflects light and can be hard to read at certain angles. We have had no issues with it so far.

This is a pretty cool thermometer. I put one of the devices out side or in another room. Where do I want to keep up with the temperature! I don't know. Maybe the basement or outside? If I am upstairs and I want to know how hot or cold it is outside so I can dress for success then I can just glance at the monitor. If I think my thermostat is not working properly I can use it to check the rooms temperature. I think I can also do a test to see how hot it gets in my car or dog house with this. The monitor can keep up with three remote devices but also shows you what the temperature is where the monitor is located.

This little thermometer works very well. It was easy to set up, a good size and simple. I put the receiver outside, in the shade and have the main part in my bedroom so I can see the temperature without having to check the forecast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This temperature monitor is nice. Easy enough to setup and use. Has a strong magnetic sensor that is very accurate for temperatures. The base station is easy to read with big numbers. Has a low battery indicator on face also.

Simple to install and easy to use .it comes with AAA batteries and no wires which is super cool.. The monitor has bold digital numbers so becomes easy for anyone to read . The base station needs to be installed on a wall that could be done even with a push pin. The digital monitor has 3 options for installation - you could either put it up on a wall next to the base station or stick it to any metal base as it comes with magnet strip or just sit it on your desk as it also comes with a stand . A good value for money product . Definitely recommend!!
