Q: can you buy other trains that will work on track? to the trains have an on off switch? i would think they have to but one reviewer stated they did not.

A: Track Master Motorized engines and Track Master Push Along engines are compatible with this track set, but won't talk/interact with Thomas and Percy.

My son absolutely loves Thomas and Friends trains, he plays with them all the time. We recently got him this track for Christmas and it surprised him so much to see that they talk with each other! We missed place the build instructions how can we receive an extra copy?

Missing 4 pieces! Bought it early on sale and saved it for my sons 2nd birthday not thinking I needed to open it to make sure everything was there! Now the return window is gone and they are sold out.

I feel like who designed this did not test this out. The trains seems to always fall of the tracjs. The tunnel part is flimsy and the boulder thing doesn’t work right. One of tracks the train always stops at one part and you have to manually release the stop.

There are a couple of switches on this train--good for coordinating the movment of the train for little ones. The trains talk to each other--also fun. The track is great; it fits together well; easy to assemble and can set up in a variety of ways. My grandchildren, ages 5-7 enjoy playing with this.

My son loves playing with this, it’s easy to set up and seems pretty durable. My only complaint is the trains don’t have an actual on/off switch, so they will randomly turn on when put away or if bumped…. Or if my 2 year old just leaves them running. I would recommend!

The trains worked for less than 24 hrs. Very odd … you set up a decent size track like that for the trains to not even operate. A total waste of time for me and disappointment from my 3 year old son. Do not recommend!

My 3-year old LOVES this set. I like how there are interesting things (tunnel, bridge, boat) and different possible configurations. I think it's a good size - big enough to be interesting, but doesn't take up the entire room. The tracks are a little hard for my son to take apart though; I usually have to help him because I'm worried that he's going to break them. The Thomas and Percy engines are very durable and have survived many drops on the floor. Was able to snag this set on sale during the holidays!

We really like this train set overall. Some notes - • Be careful when putting it together, they are plastic pieces and connectors after all. • It does not come apart as easily when trying to unassemble it. We put it together and never take it apart or move it and it makes it better in a way because little hands cannot take it apart once put together. So kind of a positive! • When put together it will NOT fit on standard train tables by imagine or anything like that. We still use the wooden sets for the train table and put this motorized one on the floor separately. With that said, it’s still a great set- my little 2 year old has a hard time pushing regular trains on a wooden track and he loves that this one goes on its own! I really recommend it for young toddlers. Also like I said he cannot take it apart easily like with the other wooden sets.. so win win for us!
