Tide Free & Gentle HE Compatible Liquid Laundry Detergent Soap

I love this product. I have a question. Does Tide Free and Gentle contain any fabric softener? I wouldn't think so but had to double check because I can't have it. Thanks very much.

I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This Up & Up Baby Laundry Detergent for my little one's clothes, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! As a parent, it's important to me to find products that are gentle yet effective, and this detergent hits the mark perfectly. This laundry detergent has a pleasant smell and effectively removes stains from clothes. This detergent is really gentle on skin, especially sensitive ones. Highly recommended.

This new formula caused an allergic reaction and I have hives everywhere.

Why did you change the formual. Cheaper to make? Couldn't be because it is better for consumers. This new formula is more irritating to my husband's skin then the regular Tide was. Plus, it smells bad

I have always bought Tide-however recently I started breaking out with rash and dermatitis. I didn’t realize the formula had changed. So disappointing.

Why must you change without warning new formula. Now I have hives. Whatever you changed is causing many to have hives.

I am highly upset. I have used tide free for years. Recently I began to have hives on my arms feet and legs…bad red patches of dermatitis. For weeks I eliminated everything only to realize it was the washing powder!! Why have you done this? What a miserable experience. I will never buy again. Kept me up at night it was so severe.

I will only use clear tide! I switch between this and Arm Hammer, but I think this one works better. It's a little pricey, but lasts long when ypu only use the amount your supposed to. The packaging is tall and sleek, so it fits well in my cabinet.

I have sensitive skin. I don’t think you (the company, not the unfortunate employees who has to read this) care, or understand what that Really means. It means I didn’t know what was happening to me until it literally exploded across my body. I didn’t know you were making changes to your product until the skin on my chest, under my arms and between my legs turned in half a day into burning, itchy skin that is so swollen with Tide rash there are no more pores. When I try some new product I try it in a focused way. For example, body lotion I’ll just try it on my hands and if they start burning or itching, the skin changes color I wash it off and don’t use it again. I don’t just put it all over my body and whatever happens, happens. What are you thinking? You can’t just put whatever you want in a product- like Benzisothiazolinone, which by the other reviews seems to be a problem - like you did over this past year to the “free

The ingredients on the bottle do not match the ingredients online at the SmartLabel webpage. Notably, the bottle does Not contain Borax (Sodium Borate) and the bottle does contain the addition of sodium lauryl sulfate. I feel as though these are important ingredients that should be correctly listed. There are a few other ingredients that do not match up as well. Overall I'm disappointed with the cleaning power of this detergent. My kids are hard on their clothes. Food and dirt stains abound. This detergent very rarely gets all of the food stains out of my kids clothes.

New formula has flared my contact dermatitis. Have been using Tide Free and Gentle without issues for many years. Took two weeks while scratching to figure out that a new bottle had been opened and the ingredients were changed. I am head-to-toe covered in cherry-red itchy skin and hives. Not happy.

I have been using Tide Free and Gentle for years due to my skin sensitivities/allergies and my daughter's eczema/allergies. My adult daughter has continued using Tide Free and Gentle, but she has had a horrible eczema flare up (itching, swelling, rash, burning) since June 2024 on parts of her body that she doesn't usually get eczema. She has been miserable and hasn't changed any of the products she's used for years. I started researching the products we use and discovered that the ingredients in Tide Free and Gentle changed around May 2024. What exactly was changed or added??

Use it for all our clothes including baby’s clothes

[Benzo]Isothiazolinone added to the formula, and this is no longer safe for our household. Bottles purchased in Nov 2024 have the new formula.

I have used this for 6 years, I did t realize the changes made and now I have constant contact dermatitis, itching and hives. This is horrible and I am so upset.

Realized when I got home that the Tide free & gentle bottle I purchased did not have the EPA safer choice label. Double checked the UPC on EPA.gov/saferchoice but the UPC on my product wasn’t listed. So beware if that’s important to you. Feels like Tide is trying to trick people by getting them used to buying a product then switching things up. My bad for not double checking in the store but it would be nice to be able to trust these brands.

Almost always part of a target circle offer. We have used this for 4 years now, worked so well for our baby with eczema because it has no extra fragrances

Cleans really well and it doesn’t have all the strong scents.

I have sensitive skin and this is gentle and fragrant free!
