To this end, we've updated the packaging and dosing instructions while the cap remains consistent with our previous products. A: That's a great question. While you'll get some of the benefit of a fabric softener, it is not exactly the same. You'll need to still add fabric softener to get the full benefits.

I have a strong appreciation for Tide products; however, I encountered some issues with the packaging from the warehouse. As a result, I decided to visit the store for assistance. It has amazing cleaning power as it got my clothes really clean. It's also very light on the skin so you can use this if you have sensitive skin. You get a nice quantity of value. But the smell was gentle, the clothes soft and the bottle was slim for storage! I don’t have a lot of storage place and get tired of the big fat containers. This one is slim and not too heavy for my kids to pour. I threw in some of my ones stinky clothes and they came out smelling good. Not too overpowering. This may have changed my mind about Downy products. And love that it is all in one!

But still this is one of the better ones to purchase and I will from now on. I add scent beads for the extra boost. The clothes are so clean and smell great. Soft on the fabric but effective. No bleeding of colors as you can see I have a huge mixture of colors and clothes I wash at one time and it always comes out great. Give it a try it's well worth it

I dont know if pods are worse impact for the environment but their packaging is way more practical. I personally find myself making a mess whenever using this instead of pods
