Tom's Of Maine Naturally Waxed Antiplaque Flat Floss Spearmint - Case of 6/32 yd

Cleans well and doesn't shred or break. Might possibly be on the thick side for some mouths but perfect for mine. This will be my go-to floss going forward.

Not flat, pulled crown loose! This stuff is super thick and I pulled my crown loose with it this morning, I've already got an appointment at my dentist next week to have it looked at and hopefully it does not fall off in the meantime. Absolutely do not buy this floss at all!! Super thick and ruins crowns, use at your own risk!

The floss always frays before finishing. Their older non-spearmint version from years ago never did this.

I have used your floss for years, buying 6+ packets at a time. What happened to it? It used to be thicker, and I feel like it used to scrub between my teeth better. The new floss is too thin and slick. I guess I have to find an alternative. Please consider making it like you used to.

Super thick, couldn’t get it between my teeth. Thought it was made of hemp or something, but I see it’s nylon, so not sure why the rope like quality.

This floss is terrible. It gets stuck between my teeth and shreds as I attempt to pull it out.

Difficult to move between teeth. Wanted pfa free changing from Glide Which was easy to use.

We got this thinking it would be a good complement to our TofM toothpaste. Alas, it's so thick neither of us can get it to go between our teeth. Had to throw it away.

This floss works great for cleaning plaque off teeth. The reason I try to buy your products is your environmental responsibility. However, I hate having to throw these little plastic boxes away!! It would be so easy and so much more environmentally responsible to make REFILLS and pack them in recyclable cardboard. I would buy them in bulk if they were available. I see many others agree with me. So let's do it. We'll buy them if you make them!

This is the thickest "flat floss" Ive ever seen. Its neither "flat" or "floss". How did this product ever get to market? Loved the review calling it a "rope" because thats exactly what it is. My teeth hurt for 24 hrs after using it for the first and only time. Unfortunately I bought 2 so they are both going into the trash. On second thought, my running shoes need new shoe laces....

When I first bought this floss, I noticed the plastic case opened and the floss roll could be removed which made me very excited because I assumed you could buy refills instead of purchasing a new plastic container each time. Unfortunately after much hunting for the elusive floss refills I learned that an entirely new plastic container must be purchased each time. Why is this? I would pay the same price for a roll of floss to refill my current container. I wince each time I have to purchase new floss even though I love this this product! Even my dentist has been impressed with my level of flossing which I account directly to Tom's excellent floss. In the end though If I can find a comparable floss in a reusable container or just by the spool I will switch products in a heartbeat.

I love this but wish I could find refill floss and not buy the plastic case again and again.

Great floss but wish they sold refills without a new plastic housing each time. Would be so easy to replace the spool of floss in the original plastic case. As it is you produce a lot of plastic waste. I'll have to be switching to a brand that offers refills as I care about reducing the plastic waste I generate.

This floss is way too thick. I had to use pliers to pull it out and the next day my crown came off! Very very upset! Will never use again and will NOT recommend to anyone!

Like other reviews have mentioned, the plastic case is my only complaint. I love this floss. I have tried other eco-friendly silk flosses, but nylon seems to work better for me. I wish Tom's sold refills for this floss. And used paper cases similar to Radius floss. Should this issue be addressed, I would continue to buy this product and recommend it.

I love this floss, the thickness and width fit great - it really does look after my gums and between teeth.I can feel the difference. thank you! Does it actually have no plastic in the floss? The only thing that really upsets me is the plastic box it comes in... I'd even just buy this as a roll of thread and cut it myself if I had to. or how about some easy to use recyclable card box - like EcoDent Gentle Floss have?? how about a collaboration!? Maybe it's not "up the top of your priority list" - but to image that almost everything that you sell is going into the trash at some stage is seriously upsetting. This life is not all about making money you know. How about inviting your employees to dedicate some of their volunteer time to this project? I want to be able to say "Yes! I recommend this floss completely!"
