Q: What is the length/size? Also it doesn't appear to have a cover so you don't have to wait for it to fully cool to place in your bag? Both seem kinda important to call it a travel iron . .

A few things about this that I could not figure out from the listing: 1- it is dual voltage and auto adjusts to 120 or 240V. 2- Plug is polarized. 3- only one temp setting and that is 356°F

No joke, I bought this iron in 2013 (black/blue) for work travel and it’s still going strong today. Yes it’s small, so it can’t take larger threads of hair (smaller chunks at a time is best), but the curl holds up better than any other iron I have. Hand down, best travel accessory to add to your essentials!

Once you wrap your hair around it it was hard to keep the hair on because it does not close all the way and hair slips out. Hurts fingers when you try to hold it open to wrap the hair

Okay, hear me out. I haven't bought a new curling iron in like 20 years. Bought this one for an upcoming trip, and with the intention to throw away the other. Trying to put unplug it, I accidentally hit my arm with it. Four days later, it's still red. Is it my imagination that these things are way hotter than the ones made 20 years ago? Anyway, it gets really hot, and didn't burn my hair, curled it, and I still have the (burn) mark days later. All in all, does what it says! :)
