[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very compact travel hair dryer, it folds in half extremely easily and takes up little space in a bag. The dryer does produce a good amount of heat and quickly dried my hair which is thick and just past my shoulders. With the first 2 uses it did have a burning smell fir a minute but it did disappear after those initial uses.

We travel often to see our daughter and her family. The CONAIR PETITE HAIRDRYER fits perfectly in my suitcase and in my smaller travel bag!! The folding handle makes it fit into just about any size travel bag!! It may be smaller than your normal hairdryer but, it works just as well. I have curly hair and it doesn't cause any fizzing compared to other hairdryers that I have used!!! I love the Concentrator for precise drying that comes with it. This little dryer even has 2 speed settings which is really nice!!! Since it comes with Dual-Voltage, you can use it worldwide. I highly recommend this if you travel alot or you can use it at home especially if you have limited storage space in your bathroom!!!

However, since it's small the power isn't obviously as great and takes a while to dry my hair. I have about 2c hair and a good amount of hair so it takes a while which is why I docked off one star.

I love the size of it- it's definitely convenient and compact. The strength of the hair dryer is comparable to a hotel dryer, with 25% less heat and air power. For something that allows you to be on the go and have a personal dryer that you can keep when you travel, I enjoyed it! I think that it's also hygienic to have your own dryer rather than using the hotel ones or anyone else's when you're on a trip. My straight hair doesn't feel frizzy or overdone when I finish drying it, so I can appreciate having this!!

It has a long cord to make it convenient to plug in and has a safety circuit breaker plug. The wattage is low so it takes a little longer to dry thick or alot of hair. I basically only dry my bangs anyways. The dryer has 2 settings and both are relatively quiet. The only thing I don't like is the position of the buttons. You have to slide up for the low setting, off is in center and high is down. I personally prefer to go up in 2 stages from off vs the skip. To me, it's a a mild inconvenience that should be corrected in newer models. Overall, this Conair travel hairdryer is no frills but practical and affordable.

That little guy packs a punch! The Conair Travel Hair Dryer ended up drying my hair faster than my usual hair dryer! Cord was a good length and is going to be a great addition to our travel trailer or any trips we go on. My only feedback would be adjustable heat but it does have a high low setting. Great tool to add to your hair collection! For sure will recommend to friends or maybe make a good gift for the holidays.

I do wish it came with a drawstring bag or something for convenience. The quality is a very basic so it's not something I would reach for everyday but in a pitch while traveling would be fine. This could also be fun for a child to use.
