Not sure where all of these great reviews are from - yes it holds. However - it leaves A TON of white flakes :( Literally looks like I have shredding dandruff. I love the smell and hold but please fix the product - to stop turning into white residue!

I put it on my 6 year old son prior to school drop off and by pick up time at 2pm, it looks somewhat decent. His hair isn't messy but it's not super nice like it was in the morning either. It works great and doesn’t cost a crazy amount, what’s not to love. We use this for flyaways and for slick ponytails. This is also our go to for dance competition buns. It’s doesn’t leave a residue and dries clear. It smells nice too. What’s not to love! When it’s on sale, I usually buy two at a time.

Not strong enough. I bought this gel to help lock my sons curls in. He has thick hair and the curls often loosen on top. This was fine while wet, but once it dried his curls feel flat up top.

For dying hold I’m sure this is for you, but if you’re looking for a soft hold, it’s very heavy. Not for me! I have very thick curly hair and if I’m looking for a really strong hold. I’d go with Got2B products!
