TRU Rapid Cold Brew Coffee Maker

I used to buy a cold brew coffee drink every morning, and now I don’t need to anymore. This is easy to set up & use, makes a perfect amount (about two cups) for me, and works fast. There are three flavor strengths to choose from too, so each drink can be customized. Overall, I am very happy with this and would recommend it to everyone!

Not anymore with this TRU rapid cold brew device.It is very small and compact so it doesn't take up much space and makes cold brew just as good or better than what we buy in 10 minutes. We use it every day now and love trying out new beans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still figuring this amazing new pot out. I am in love with this thing. No more spending a ton of money on the fancy coffee places. I can make cold coffee right at home now. There are 3 brew strength settings which include mild, medium and bold. It takes anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes depending on your preference of strength. It makes up to about a pint of coffee at a time which fits perfectly in my travel mug. The brew chamber is removable for easy filling and cleaning. Use a mild soap and warm water. The cold brew pitcher can be used to store your freshly made coffee in the fridge. This pot is lightweight and easy to pack to take along on trips too.

The instructions for this device are very detailed with a lot of pictures which I appreciate. There are 3 settings but I’ve only used medium. I assume I won’t like mild and I usually don’t like bold. The one annoyance of this device is that it only brews a few cups at a time. You’ll likely need to brew two “pots” if there are 2 of you (I drink 2 cups on my own).

Really quick cold brew in less than 15 minutes and you can choose the strength of the coffee, I like the medium brew and it only takes 10 minutes. I love this because I can have exactly what I want at home and not spend a fortune out at coffee places and I can have as much as I want. Really great and super easy to clean, too.

This pitcher is such a smart design making it so easy to take the grounds out and quickly convert the vessel to a pitcher you can put right in the fridge!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a professional coffee connoisseur, but will admit to being a coffee addict of sorts. This Rapid Cold Brew Coffee Maker by TRU makes delicious cold brew coffee. It’s quick, convenient, and not super noisy. This is an electric model with dual mesh filters. This can brew 500ml (about 2 cups or 17 ounces) of cold brew concentrate. The process takes about 5 to 15 minutes depending on with brew strength you prefer. This machine has an option of 3 different brew strengths- mild, medium, or bold. This coffee maker is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. The step by step directions are clear, numbered, and have illustrations. The control panel is straightforward: you press the power button, strength selection button, and then the brew button. There is a blue indicator light that illuminates, and machine will beep 3 times when the process is complete. This generates a quality cold brew concentrate. The coffee is flavorful, smooth, and not the least bit bitter. I use this daily, and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rapid cold brewer is a really fun kitchen device to use. The instructions were very clear and it took less than 3 minutes to get it going. The cold brewer takes up little counter space and delivers a cold brew in far less time than manual cold brewers. The coffee came out extremely smooth with almost no bitterness. As a result, I found I needed to use less sweetener to counter the bitterness/acidity of hot coffee. The display has a high tech look, is easy to read and use. You can pour the coffee straight out of the spout once the cold brew cycle is completed, and store any extras in the fridge right in the same kettle. I think I’ll need to use more coffee grounds in the future however. The coffee came out lighter than I expected. I didn’t expect to need so much coffee grounds for 2 cups of water. Granted, I didn’t measure the amount of grounds I was instructed to use, but I had hoped I wouldn’t need to use that much grounds. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed not only the process of watching it cold brew (it’s very cool!) but also the smooth taste. It’s also great to be able to prepare cold brew on demand, rather than waiting a day or two for the manual cold brew process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the idea of this product is great, the execution leaves something to be desired. Setup was fairly simple. We washed and rinsed before use. However the instructions are so vague. There is no measurement instructions for how much coffee to use. We experimented a couple different amounts, but none seem to turn out right. Either too weak or way too strong. We just couldn't seem to find a happy medium. I just wish the instructions were better because this is a product that would get a lot of use in our house.

It’s honestly so fool proof and that’s something that I really look for when I am purchasing anything. It’s quick, easy, and delicious! This is not too loud and the directions come with troubleshooting if anything does happen to go wrong. If you love cold brew coffee I highly highly recommend this.

It also brews in minutes. Easy to use and tastes even better than store-bought prepared coffee. It uses a removable inner brew chamber with two mesh filters to strain out grounds and makes cleaning a breeze.

This saves me the hassle of making it ahead, plus this is much richer, and the filters remove a lot more of the grounds. The taste is great, and the fast results are wonderful! I highly recommend this, and it doesn’t require a lot of space, and is easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little cold brewer that brews fast! At first I felt very overwhelmed by the directions, but it's actually very easy to use. They make it sound way more difficult then it is. I like that it has settings so you can get a stronger brew, which I prefer. You simply put your grounds in, in between filters, add water, insert filter container with grounds, turn on, hit brew! It will beep 3 times so you know it's done. Overall very pleased!
