Tuffy Ocean Creature Octopus Dog Toy - Purple - S

We love the Tuffy toys - especially the Ocean Collection. Our dog tears apart other toys in minutes but these last! He does get the squeaker out first thing but then they last for months. We have the shark, the porpoise, the whale, the lobster, the crab and now the octopus!

Our dogs like the toy, although it's a little too big for two of our puppies and only our third one continuously plays with it. Still, they all like to play tug and it has lasted for about 4 months with only one of the tentacles having some damage. I've seen that the other toys of this brand (i.e. the crab) have increased durability and our dogs like them; so we would definitely recommend to other people with small dogs that tend to destroy their toys quickly.

Such good quality! Very tough for my heavy chewers.

There's a squeaker in each tentacle, which my pup LOVES! And I love because it keeps her entertained with minimal fluff coming out of each tentacle when she successfully retrieves each squeaker lol

This toys lasted one day with our lab before he was able to chew through it. It’s not completely destroyed as he still has a few tentacles left to destroy 🤦🏻♀️

I have two large dogs who are notorious for quickly chewing through toys. This was the first toy that they had fun playing with and that lasted beyond an hour and in fact is on day 5 and still going strong. They haven't tired of the toy! Very pleased!!

This Octopus is a fun and durable dog toy. It definitely holds up to its description. It's great to play fetch and tug due to all the legs. My dog will even throw it up in the air himself. I have purchased this brand (Tuffy) before and we have toys that are 2 years old that still look like new. Definitely recommend!

Very durable But hard for my dog to actually For his mouth in to chew.

Lasted about an hour with my German shepherd mix. The Tuffys Tug-O-War toy has held up extremely well, which is why I purchased the octopus. ☹️

Octopus takes a beating all day long, then at night he's used as a pillow. Love how the legs are perfect for tug o war. I read these were machine washable so mine has been washed a few times without any issue...make sure to air dry.

LOL, it was bigger then my dog!! Gave it to my daughter who has a large dog. Tough toy, he has not destroyed it yet.

My little dog likes this big octopus. Little dogs like big toys. This super cute, bright purple, smiling octopus has one squeaker in each of the 8 arms plus another in the head. The squeaker in the head isn’t protected as well as the ones in the arms, so if you have a dog that’s rough on toys this is definitely the weak spot.

Tuffy toys are the best! My dogs love to destuff and shred regular stuffed dog toys. That is not possible with Tuffy toys! The strong piping around the toy makes for long life and tough play. This octopus has become a favorite - each of the eight tentacles has a squeaker - dog heaven! It is large enough that my dogs can play tug of war together but still small enough to carry it around in their mouths. A fun toy!

Perfect for dogs who rough play! This cute little octopus is well made. I must say it is very durable and has held up well to chewing, gnawing and being thrown around the yard. It has even survived getting wet in the rain. When it got wet from the rain, it quickly dried out by the next day. It is almost like it repels water. It is bigger than you would think. From the picture it looks kind of small. But it is rather large so I would recommend it for larger dogs. It may be a bit too much for small dogs to carry or play with. It has squeakers in it that entice your pups to play. All squeakers are still squeaking too. Most toys would not hold up in my dogs possession! Overall, I recommend for any large dog that loves chewing and playing!

My Dogs Love there new purple Octopus dog toy! Perfect size toy for any size dogs, sturdy material with squeaky arms that make cute noises. Made with very heavy duty material along with well stitching. Keeps my dogs occupied for hours, Lots of fun for my dogs. I really like that it’s machine washable and that it floats in water. I have several Tuffy brand toys for my dogs, long lasting toys... love it!

This Tuffy octopus is the most durable dog toy we’ve owned. You can tell right away that it is made from heavy duty material and the stitching is strong. The tag explains that all Tuffy brand toys are built to last with extra stitching around each seam. This toy is rated an 8 out of 10 on the brands toughness scale. There is one squeaker in each tentacle of the octopus plus one more in the body of the octopus, so there are 9 squeakers total on this toy. The packaging does say that the toy floats in water. Since it is too cold for outdoor water play, I tested this in the bath tub, and the toy does float. It would be super fun for dogs that love water play! All of these aspects of the toy are great. My one complaint would be the toy is called the “Tuffy Ocean Creature Small Octopus Pet Toy”, but this not a small toy at all. It is very large and fairly heavy. My 15 pound dog can hardly pick it up and definitely can not run around with it to play. This toy is designed for a much larger breed of dog. I am not sure why the name includes small, but I definitely would not recommend it for a small dog. It is probably an A+ toy for a large dog though!

Very satisfied with this toy because my small pit bull loves it.i noticed that the toy is a bit heavy but easy for him to play with it he usually bites the legs and plays with it for 5 to 10 minutes and then later he comes and grabs it again he enjoys playing with his toy and so far it still looks like new.its good quality and is well done. he also tries to bite the head but is hard and i believe it wont rip apart so easy.i highly recommend it i also like that the toy is stuffed with safe and non-toxic fiber.our dog Logan loves his octopus toy

My dogs are huge fans of squeakers and stuffing. They can shred a toy in 5 minutes. This toy however, wasn't a huge hit with them. The material is really hard for them to sink their teeth into. This might be great for a super chewer. The quality is great and it's made very well. Just to tough for my dogs.

We received the octopus as product to try and review. I have a 10 year old mix lab/terrier who has always been very destructive with her toys. This is labeled as a tough toy, but within two minutes she had torn through the fabric on the top. The inside is definitely proven a little bit more difficult for her. The outer covering could use some work, because the fluff has been chewed out and several areas of the fabric have been chewed off, but overall it is still intact. She loves it though, its perfect for throwing like a Frisbee and she can easily grab the legs and throw it around by herself. Overall a good product.

This toy is not only very sturdy, but it's quite cleverly made. My dog usually disposes of the toughest dog toys in record time, but this toy has so far provided many enjoyable hours of puppy play. Highly recommend!
