Really nice book holder. It is large enough to hold big thick books. The brass / gold color goes with any decor. It feels sturdy and durable. It is useful to hold a recipe book in the kitchen and much more. It doesn’t take up too much space. A true must have.

I got this for art, not books. They both arrived bent, like others mentioned. It's not fatal, because what you can see looks fine and it's not obvious that it's bent. This is extremely light. I would not call it sturdy, as others have done. It's not likely to tip, but you could easily bend and deform it with your hands. It worked for what I was trying to do but it's not a great finish and has no heft at all. It's overpriced. I'm putting 'no' on recommendation, only because I wouldn't make a general 'yes.' It may work for what you have in mind, but I would recommend low expectations and a willingness to return.

This is pretty but not the most sturdy piece. It’s very lightweight.

This is perfect to hold books or even larger pictures. I got this to display a certificate that my husband received. Some picture holders can be a little large but this is perfect and doesn’t take away from the picture itself.

This is both larger and lighter than I had originally expected, making it actually better than what I had in mind. It's sturdy, well-designed and will look good on a counter, whether or not there's a book propped on it.

This is a very pretty Twisted Brass Book Holder in Gold. Much larger than I expected. Sturdy but lightweight. I will use this for magazines. It is quite useful. I can stack several. I really love it.

This is a very heavy duty picture stand. Very good quality and holds up great. Whether you use it for a heavier frame or just some card stock signs it does a great job and looks nice. I haven’t tried it for larger size pictures but I think it would work great.

So light weight and cheap looking. Major bummer. Back it goes!

This is wonderful! It is very sturdy and is able to hold a variety of different items. The gold is gorgeous and such a wonderful addition to my kitchen.
