Book Synopsis
The world's most celebrated thriller writer returns with his most stunning novel yet--a propulsive, twisty, thought-provoking masterpiece that will entertain readers as only Dan Brown can do. Robert Langdon, esteemed professor of symbology, travels to Prague to attend a groundbreaking lecture by Katherine Solomon--a prominent noetic scientist with whom he has recently begun a relationship. Katherine is on the verge of publishing an explosive book that contains startling discoveries about the nature of human consciousness and threatens to disrupt centuries of established belief. But a brutal murder catapults the trip into chaos, and Katherine suddenly disappears along with her manuscript. Langdon finds himself targeted by a powerful organization and hunted by a chilling assailant sprung from Prague's most ancient mythology. As the plot expands into London and New York, Langdon desperately searches for Katherine . . . and for answers. In a thrilling race through the dual worlds of futuristic science and mystical lore, he uncovers a shocking truth about a secret project that will forever change the way we think about the human mind.

The spine was obviously broken on this book. It should never have been should have been shipped. It was exchanged in store, and the binding on the replacement book is questionable. Are these “factory seconds”? I don’t recommend buying books unless you can physically examine them for quality first. Note: I called my local store to arrange an exchange. The young lady who helped me went out of her way to help me. She was very kind.

Finally...another Dan Brown book!
After way too many years...finally another Dan Brown novel! Is he formulaic? Yes. Do some of the concepts seem a bit too forward thinking? Pretty much. Does this book give you something to think about...even though it is so forward thinking? Of course! Were you surprised by some of the characters? I was! Was much poetic license taken by the author? Duh... All in all this was an entertaining if LONG book! I was glad to read it and will probably read it a second and perhaps even a third time. It wasn't as intriguing as some of his previous novels, but I enjoyed it all the same.

The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown
My husband and I have enjoyed many books by this author. As soon as it arrived my husband started reading and was completely drawn in by the storyline. It does get a bit technical further into the story.
