Q: If I were to hook up four cameras like it says this monitor is capable of, will I be able to see all four monitor screens in the split screen mode on one screen?

  • A: Hi there! The split screen model only show two screen at max, left and right. When it is paired with four cameras, it cannot show four cameras at the same time. It only can show two cameras at the same time; however, the split two screen can show the four cameras in auto rotation mode.

    Loved the split screen monitor…when it worked. After 18 months, the monitor started not charging correctly and would randomly shut off in the middle of the night.. with no warning. Tried different cords, the defect is the monitor. Come to find out there are SEVERAL reviews saying the same thing. Because I’ve had it for >12 months, customer support wouldn’t do anything other than offer me a $15 off coupon when I purchased a NEW monitor for $120. No thanks! This product is expensive garbage.

    I THOUGHT I loved this camera but after almost a year of it being used the monitor randomly stopped working. It wouldn’t hold a charge, I reached out to customer service and they refused to replace it or even do anything about the inconvenience. This product is way too expensive for the short term lifespan it holds.

    The amount of bad stars this monitor has is INSANE to me. I’ve went thru 4 different monitors between my two kids. And I’ve had this monitor for almost 3 years and still love it! Yes the charger went, but I just ordered one off amazon and it’s been perfect. I love being able to see the split screen and not have to rotate between the two. I love the size of the screen and the weight of it too.

    DON'T BUY! Parent unit breaks!!

    Vava has offered me the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Bought this on February 4 of 2023 and the parent unit broke the first week of March 2024. The unit would randomly stop charging even while plugged in and turn itself off in the middle of the night. It was traumatic to wake up in the morning to my baby crying on the other side of the house for who knows how long because I couldn’t hear it because the monitor turned off hours earlier without me knowing. The unit was out of warranty by less than 30 days, yet Vava said they could do NOTHING for me. Said I could buy their replacement parent unit which wasn’t even in stock at the time! Even took the complaint to management which denied the request to give me a replacement when I was only out of warranty by less than a month. Have you ever thought why Vava sells just the parent unit? Why would a company need to SELL a replacement part to their system and why is that part ALWAYS out of stock unless that part is ALWAYS breaking for people. What a genius way for them to gauge us poor parents of even more money. Please do not purchase anything from this company! It’s a big scam and they do not care at all about their customers or our precious children! Take your money elsewhere and save yourself the horrifying experience of not knowing your baby is crying all through the night because the monitor doesn’t work!!

    Do NOT buy this baby monitor! I purchased this set a year ago and all of a sudden it wouldn’t hold a charge. Like many others who have posted I too called the company and told me they couldn’t do anything because I was out of warranty. Clearly their monitors aren’t meant to last. Please don’t buy. It’s such a waste of money!

    Loved it for the first year but then like many many others have stated, it just stops charging. I’ve tried different cords, different outlets, everything. It’s like the monitor just won’t hold a charge anymore. I contacted the company and they insultingly offered $15 off a replacement. I only had this monitor for 13 months but since it’s past the 1 year warranty, they refused to replace it After seeing all these other reviews describing the same issue it seems obvious that this is a manufacturing issue that they are refusing to address and fix. Please don’t waste your money. I wish we didn’t.

    I haven’t even used this monitor for a year and it has completely stopped charging. Vava’s customer service was not helpful at all resulting in having to buy a new monitor. I would not recommend this brand at all.
