I had this monitor for the past 3.5 years and it has been nothing but headaches. It is constantly struggling to connect. About six months ago it completely stopped connecting to the WiFi so our only option was direct. Then this week the direct connect stopped working so I can't use it at all. Over the years I have not been impressed with it and I highly recommend you purchase something else. Another thing to note is if it gets placed under a pillow and left there, on but not even plugged in it gets very hot and can potentially burn someone.

Solid baby cam. Sounds and light ares a nice feature as well as night vision. The option to use wifi or not is nice as well as the phone app that has all the same controls as the monitor. Only downside is ours seem to lose connection fairly easy through one wall though.

Video quality is poor. Zoom makes it worse. We’ve had this for 12.5 months and today both cameras just died, stopped working. Because we’re over the 1 year they can’t help us. I recommend spending the money on a better product

Junk! I have a single v tech monitor that I loved, but this is junk!!! The picture is completely dark after seconds. Have to move camera to get it to light up in night vision. Terrible. App is great, and camera isn’t bad when it is daylight… reached out to customer service and they basically told me I don’t know how to use a simple baby monitor.

I like everything aside from the parent unit just up and decided to stop connecting to the cameras. Thankfully the cameras are connected to wifi and I can still use them through my phone. I will say it was a great product for about 2.5 years

Do not buy this monitor. It never stays connected, it doesn’t play the sound on both cameras at the same time unless it’s flipping back and forth and the image quality isn’t always great. We bought this after seeing majority of positive reviews. Initially we thought it was our routing but even after switching providers it still sucked. We are now on the hunt for a 3rd baby monitor system

Don’t waste your money on this. Quality is low but by the time we used it, I was too far outside of the return window for target, so I just used it anyway. Started using in July 2023, LCD screen was dead by Dec 2024. No damage to product, just stopped working. Now it is out of warranty and Vtech won’t do anything about it, offered me a lovely 15% discount to buy a whole new unit through their website though…

Despite the bad reviews, I still gave this a try and I’m happy with it . I am Able to see both cameras despite where I am in the house. I agree the camera does move back to its original position but if you manually put the camera where you want it to be , then it’ll stay. I appreciate the night light option too. My only complaint is how low the volume is even at its highest. Its highest volume setting is comparable to the lowest setting on our previous monitor. Other than that, I’m happy with this purchase

Terrible Connection in app

This has a great monitor display and love that you can easily switch between cameras or see them both at once. But the app is terrible - I have never been able to connect to both cameras at once on my phone and frequently lose connection to whichever one I can get connected. We have no WiFi issues working from home, streaming videos, or connecting to previous video monitors with apps. All the troubleshooting says it must be an issue with our WiFi but even taking other devices that work perfectly fine off the network doesn’t help. Customer service is also very hard to reach. Would not buy again. Disappointed because there are so few dual camera base and app monitors out there, but seems like you have to choose one or the other.
