Q: Can these strips be used more than once? Example: all the hair isn't removed after first attempt, can I repply the same strip once or twice more to catch any stray hairs?

You get what you pay for. Works pretty well but it’s not a professional waxer at a salon, you are the waxer working with premade wax strips guys… remember that. Make sure you have time when doing this, hands are clean and read directions. Rub the strips in your hands, warming up the wax and place directly onto desired area. Even watch YouTube on how to pull the strips properly if needed for whatever area you’re using this for. I use these to wax my arms and always ensure pulling the proper direction is key as well as pulling at a proper speed, not too slow and not ripping your skin off. They take a little practice. But overall the product works well, you just have to pay attention. As far as the wipes shortage inside, I just use baby oil or witch hazel to get off excessive wax, if needed, works fine. I refuse to use any Nair products because of all the horror stories, so I’ll stick with this unless I get my arms waxed by my waxer.

I have used these for years on my husband's back and they work perfectly. Important key notes: SLOWLY pull the strips apart and they won't be patchy, you'll have a full wax strip. Apply the strip in the correct direction, and QUICKLY pull it off in the correct direction, keeping it close to your skin. Use the wax strip to gently "pick up" or remove leftover wax from your skin, then follow up with the provided wipes. I wear gloves when I use them, to make clean up easier. Half of the box will do my husband's entire back, and he has very thick, curly hair. I can't recommend these enough and I'm convinced the negative reviews are solely due to people not using these properly, because they work perfectly if you just READ the directions.

I bought wax strips, not a stupid, goopy mess. Guess I read the box wrong. It either would stay goopy on my fingers and legs or just leave huge patches behind.

These were very difficult to use and did not remove all of the hair; also a lot of times the wax did not come off of the skin after pulling the strip. But the main reason for the poor review is how they worked on my armpits- barely removed any hair and left one of my armpits bright red and burnt with pus. Hurts SO badly and I can see from other reviews that others had a similar experience. Please be careful!

Worst wax strips ever! I’ve tried several different wax strip brands. I normally buy the Athena club brand at target but it seems like they don’t sell them at target anymore. They’ve been out of stock for a while. So I decided to give these a tried. It was so painful, tugs on the skin and still leaves hair behind. Chunks of wax stays on the skin. Don’t buy these

I've been using these for YEARS. I wax my eyebrows, mustache, armpits, arms, legs, & bikini area. You have to cut the strips into smaller pieces. Use warm hands to soften before pulling strips apart. Apply & pull in the hair's opposite direction. Do not wax same area more than twice.

These work as they say they will. There’s a bit of a learning curve with figuring out which direction to pull, depending on direction of hair growth. Often times hair does not all grow in only one direction (for example armpits) so repeated applications are necessary to get all of the hair. For excess wax residue, baby oil does a terrific job at removing it. I do agree that we could use more argan oil wipes, but again, if you’re choosing to use wax strips you should plan ahead and pick up a cheap bottle of baby oil. Every once in a while, the wax papers separate unevenly and leave a lot of dry wax behind - when this happens, put the two papers back together and warm up with your hands. That fixes it.

Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I had quite a bit of hair that I didn’t want to shave so I opted for waxing. Considering the amount of pain inflicted on myself I would have thought the wax strips were doing their job… however I felt like it was just a tug-of-war game between the wax strips and my hair follicles and the wax strips were not winning

It left a huge burn on my girlfriend’s armpit. she was bleeding and it burnt it very badly. it is purple and still had glue residue all over her armpit. i do not recommend.

these are pretty decent wax strips, i’ve been using them for a while and they’re cheap and good for the price point. don’t be turned away by the pictures in the reviews, after you wax you’re going to have redness and may bleed because you are literally ripping hair out of your hair follicles, just follow up with after care (i used coconut oil to get the wax off and toner to prevent ingrowns and bumps) and then ur good 👍 and pluck any stragglers you got!!

This is my go to wax. I heat them up for a few seconds with a candle or hair dryer for optimal removal results. Never had an issue with them and uses this brand for years. Prefer it over sally Hansen.
