A: Thanks for asking. Our Vicks VapoBath Vapor Crsytals have not been tested for use in hot tubs with jets. We would recommend to only use them in a standard bathroom bathtub.

I wished I had read reviews before purchasing because the negative ones are right. At first I noticed vapors and then became uncomfortably cold/chilly, it didn’t feel like icy hot to me but it was definitely uncomfortable when I already feel cold and sick. J&J does it right with their vapor bath product but not Vicks.

This product did not produce the healing smells I needed to open my airways. What it actually does is make a hot bath feel cold on your skin, which is the worst way to feel when you are sick and searching for relief. Just take a regular bath and then apply regular Vicks and save your money.

I very much like the icy hot feeling! Have used for myself and my daughter and it has opened up our congested chest. No irritation in our privates.. but we also use less than directed. Which is why it seems like the little jar gives you plenty.

These are great but DO NOT recommend for baths. I pour two cap fills into a bowl and fill with water then let the steam from the shower so it’s thing. This are great that way. Please don’t bathe a child directly in this, it would definitely feel like icy hot!

This product and the Dr. Teal’s Vapor Epsom salts should only be used in a shower! I just came here to second other reviews and warn others you will feel like you put icy hot all over your body and it will not make for a calming bath experience.

This product is a must have in my home whether littles are sick or just after a long day of working the vapors are subtle enough and can adjust buy adding more or less. They last through the entire bath and dissolve almost completely by the end of bath. These don’t irritate my daughters skin like most salts do and give relief through the menthol vapors. Best part is they don’t leave a waxy residue on my tub. Only down part is I wish they made these in larger quantity container.
