Vizio M512E-K6B-RB 42" 5.1.2 Elevate Soundbar System - Certified Refurbished

The sounds quality is excellent for the price and the elevate options are a great feature. This however does not compensate for the connection issues, I have purchased 3 different HDMI cables since I purchased this item to try and overcome these problems. At least 1X per month, I turn on my Apple TV Box and there is no sound. This occurred prior to the Apple TV Box, when I had a cable box. The only fix, it is to unplug the cables from the HDMI (arc) and power supply on the bar itself. I have to let it sit for a few minutes and then hope that it reconnects on the first try. When it doesn't, I have to choose internal speaker on my TV and try it again later. I noticed other owners have complained about this. I regret not doing my research, as had I saw this issue, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Very pleased with the sound quality of this unit. Have watched multiple movies and it changes the overall experience. The sound up mode isn't what I expected, so I rarely use it. Now that Football Season is hear, I am able to use the "Game Mode" and like the sound it. I considered systems that was much more expensive, and I am glad I purchased this unit and it fits my needs and the price was excellent!!

I’m in love with my M-Elevate. The design is top notch, the quality of the sounds system and te satellites are lovely! If you’re looking for a 5.1.2 sounds system with all the features definitely spend that money here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system replaced a Vizio VHT510 5.1.2 system that I'd had for about 10 years. That system was very good, but the M-Series Elevate system is a distinct improvement. The choice of different equalizations for different sources (Movie, Direct, Music, Game) is a plus. The bass can be literally (concrete slab) floor-shaking and can be felt in the chest. I tried the Music EQ setting via Bluetooth from my phone, using music I know well. It was impressive and accurate--no distortion or muddiness. The surround feature put me in the stadium for the World Cup final. Outstanding system.

I upgraded to this sound and it is great! It’s like I’m in a movie theater with the surround sound. The setup was harder than it should have been. It took me almost an hour for the sound bar to connect to my Vizio tv. I also usually unplug everything before work and it’s a pain to reconnect the sound bar for some reason. I’ve thought about returning this item a plethora of times

Clean crisp sound. Nicely designed. I owned a previous Vizio sound bar but I wanted to upgrade. Great product great value.

I could feel the theatre experience right at the comfort of my home. The all around sound is great. I've watched only a few hours of various types of shows and it does a good job of handling lots of dialogue, or a sporting event, or a highly dramatic scene. Left and right speakers have lot of cord length and can be easily placed wherever you wish to. It delivers everything you wish for from a home theater system. Overall, the sound is crisp and clear, the Atmos effects are impressive and the subwoofer performs better than the two more expensive ones on our other system. The voice is so crisp, loud an clear and you cannot miss any dialogue, which happens when you do not use any speakers. I am really impressed with this system and it has enhanced the whole experience of watching a movie at home with so amazing sound effects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vizio sound bar is fantastic. Easy to set up with awesome sound. True theatre sound especially from the remote sub woofer with additional speakers. The bar itself has an adjustable directional speaker system. All I can say is wow!

Very easy to turn on, or off, if so desired. Now my husband goes to music channels and turns on surround sound. Absolutely fabulous.
