Vornado still makes great air circulators. If you have not experienced the air movement of one of these, you will be so pleasantly impressed with how it balances the temperature in an area. This model is lightweight but feels very sturdy. It would fit on a small table. I appreciate that it can be taken apart for cleaning when needed. My original Vornado circulator is almost twenty years old and still runs great. I added this model to help with another floor of the house.

My definitive review will need to wait for sweltering days, which my city has been spared so far this summer, but for the 80s it's done the trick. My box fan was powerful but didn't cool the entire room. Plus it dried my eyes out. The Vornado 560 has been a pleasure. It's quiet, powerful, and highly adjustable. I should have bought one years ago. For me, it's been worth the money.

I own 3 fans, I have them in different rooms. And I know I will be purchasing more.

I love this new circulator. It looks just as great as it works. The control buttons on top make it so much easier to set. What I like most about it is you set the desired angle, just pivot and it stays exactly the way you set it. I own 3 different size Vornado from the Flippy to 560 Med and all 3 have excellent results.

I bought 2 of the vornado 560...they are on the floor in my camper that has one air conditioner in living room one end...so with the 2 of them for the first summer..my whole 28ft camper is cold End to End...hot air rises...so one in living room under air facing to other...well its wonderful..the air conditioner is the loudest of the noises...so im so happy..thank u

I BOUGHT THIS DUE TO AN EXTREME HEAT IN MY AREA. I DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AND NEEDED SOMETHING TO HELP FAST. THIS REALLY DID DO MORE THAN A BOX FAN. THE AIR IT PUSHES FEELS WONDERFUL AND STRONG. I HAVE 2 NOW.

I had previously bought a vornado product for winter use and decided to get something to use in summer. The unit keeps my kitchen cool and eliminates my need to use the air conditioner it also allows a higher setting for when I do need to use the air conditioner. I highly recommend.

This fan is much smaller than the older Vornado fan I'm replacing, but it packs the same punch in circulating all the room air, and at low speed is very quiet. I'm so pleased I may buy another one for my guest room.

I bought the 560 for my home office and am happy with it, since it's still more than powerful enough--I usually keep it on a low setting--and yet it's also quieter than the other models I've owned, and on the lower settings, it's not disruptive to my many work calls. I've generally been buying and using the 660-level fans from Vornado, figuring that even with smaller rooms, it's good to have that large capacity to circulate air. But now I realize that the medium-sized fan is plenty, especially because the larger fans can be a bit more distracting with their noise, even if they are still quiet compared with other conventional fans. Although I've had the 560 for only a month or so, my other Vornado fans (including a gray model that's no longer being sold) have lasted years and still work great.

Our air conditioner had been on the fritz and with the circulator, we were able to keep the temperatures in the living areas down. This circulator is a very nice design with a stable base. It's very quiet on the lowest setting, and still powerful enough to cool a room. The higher settings are amazing with how powerful it is. The only con is that I wish it turned on to the lowest setting. It is a bit abrupt to turn it on to the powerful blast of air, even though it's the medium setting. I wish it would oscillate too, but that's okay. Overall, great product and would definitely recommend.

When temperatures are still low, this helped circulate the hot air from the vents nicely in our living room. It also helped our visiting Grnadpa, who did not like the higher heater temps in the house fan himself off and use it as a personnel fan. He gave the Vornado 2 thumbs up and try to borrow it from us. We are excited to use it to circulate air on our upper floors in the summer. These rooms get stuffy in the hot heat and I am pretty sure this little fan will help.

I have bought many fans over the past 10 years and seem to have to replace them often due to high use. The Vornado produces a high volume of air circulation in a fraction of the size of a standard box fan. The air output is great for both small and larger rooms. Have used primarily in a bedroom, but also have used in a living room and can tell a huge difference in both settings. The price is a little higher, but it is worth it for the quality. If you're on the fence on the price, I would recommend spending the extra for the Vornado.

Despite being a little more costly, it's a high quality fan that really does circulate air throughout the entirety of a room. There are a total four fan speeds and even on the lowest setting, and despite furniture seemingly blocking direct air flow, I continue to feel a nice breeze. I've kept my fan downstairs next to an air-conditioning vent in our main living area. This really helps circulate our air conditioning downstairs and allows us to increase our thermostat by a couple degrees without sacrificing comfortability. While the highest fan speed setting is a bit louder, I tend to use this setting when I'm not present in the room, and upon returning, I simply knock it down to a lower fan speed setting.

I like that it is compact and I am extremely impressed with how powerful it is. There are four different settings and the controls are push buttons. At the two lower settings the fan isn't very loud, but at the highest settings I find the fan to be some what loud. Not a rattling noise but just the powerful blow of the fan. It's very compact and fits nicely on my dresser and I love the all black finish, it just looks modern, and not like your typical table top fan. I've never owned a fan as powerful as the Vornado Medium Air Circulator, and I would definitely recommend this circulator to anyone looking to buy a powerful and quality fan.

It has 2 speeds and it's more powerful than I thought it would be. It works great in smaller and medium sized rooms. It appears to be made very durable and will last a long time I'm sure. It's better than the fan I was using prior to it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fan for a bedroom or even a larger room.
