Vornado VMHi600 Heater: Portable Indoor Desk Heater, 1500W, Fan Driven, Digital Thermostat, Remote Control, Silver

The more I use the VMHi600, the greater my appreciation becomes. This Stainless Steel version is stunning, aesthetically pleasing, exudes quality and looks great in any room. I find the VMHi600 simple to operate, display useful and the remote control nice to have. So Quiet and does the job for me. No regrets. Definitely recommend. Thanks.

I have multiple and use them in different rooms. They are nothing short of amazing. I tell everyone about them. Have bought one for one of my daughters as well.

After owning 2 previous Vornado heaters that finally stopped after many years of service, I knew I wanted another Vornado brand. This one has a tiny remote, I agree with someone who said it would be nice for it to be attached to the unit by a magnet or compartment. It does have a chemical smell at first, but goes away pretty quickly. I have not used the timer function. The anti-tip is something I appreciate, the old ones had a plastic, spring-loaded turn off switch. So, this one I can have it running then if I need to move it closer I can pick it up without it turning off.

When in fonction, there's a constant electric buzz coming from the unit. We bought it for our rv but we won't be using it. Waist of our precious money.

For the price of this heater, this should come with an app that you can control from your phone with built-in wifi. Also keep in mind that this thing keeps running even when it reached the desired temperature. Because it doesn't include built in wifi, if you wanted to use with a smart plug, you still wont be able to use it because once the unit is off you have to manually turn it on because there is no way to leave it on. Fan feels pretty weak also.

I absolutely love this metal heater. I needed a heater for my Bedroom for nights when it gets really cold out. I love the fact that it has a remote and a temperature readout on the front of the unit so you can control it from bed and know what temp you have it set on. You can even run the fan without the heat for warmer nights. If your in the market for a well built heater with a long warranty period look no further than the Vornado VMHI600

This fan is not putting out much heat. I even set it at 90. I thought it would at least know the chill out. To feel anything you have to be in front of it. Looks nice but doesn’t live up to expectations.

Not even a month of using and already stop working lights on but no heat what a waste of my money

I have been searching for a quality heater to help me through the Winter months for a long time, but always seem to be disappointed. This heater has been great. It quietly and effficently heats up my living room to a comfortable temperature. I'm glad I finally found a heater to meet my cold season needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried VMHi600 Stainless Steel Space Heater by Vornado. This heater has a sleek stainless steal exterior on sides and top. It’s cool to the touch even when heater is running. It features a digital display o the front that shows the current set temperature. The handle on top makes it easy to transport from room to room. The handle also has a digital control panel built in. The control panel allows you to turn the heater on/off, raise or lower the temperature and set the heat fan or only run on fan. There is also the option to run on a timer. The cord has a nice length making it where I can plug it in on one wall and put the heater in the middle of the room. I’ve been using the heater in my office to warm it up in the morning before I goto work. This little heater works great. You can feel the fan blowing war air as soon as you power it on. I really like how easy the control panel is to use and how fast it starts heating the room up.

The first thing I noticed was the remote, a compact device that provides access to power, temperature control, and even a timer. What's nice about its size is that you can slip it beneath the carrying handle compartment whenever you put the heater away. I tend to misplace tiny tech things , so I appreciate the convenience here! Speaking of compartments, the heater has a slot behind the unit where the power cable is attached. It's big enough to tuck the cable away when you're not using it, making the heater compact and adding to its luxury appearance and safety. Another design consideration is how the Vornado stays cool to the touch during operation. From what I can tell, it has an innovative structure that houses and separates the heating coil from the case. The front grill still gets hot naturally, but this means no burning your legs, hands, or feet if you brush up against the unit. I use the heater on a small foldable table anyways, but the fact that I don't have to worry about scorching my hands is a huge plus. The heater also runs the fan for several seconds to cool down when you turn it off, which is an impressive example of refinement from the designers. The overall design feels thoughtful and high tech, efficient without wasted effort. It achieves a handsome appearance, which is not a quality I would expect from a space heater. I certainly wouldn't mind leaving this in front of guests in the living room. It may even be a conversation starter! For example, the handle has a touch screen interface with bright icons for ease of use. I prefer having physical dials, but the controls work very well while adding sophistication. The front grill has a digital display that provides a color spectrum to represent the heating level of the unit. The display color also indicates an eco mode that you can control alongside a timer with two physical buttons on the top of the case. The heater is strong enough for a small bedroom with an open bathroom, which is perfect for my needs. It's also easy to pick up and put away during the day. I'm going to be using this heater all throughout cold winter nights for sure. Overall, I'm pretty happy to say that I own this thing, so kudos to the Vornado team for creating a genuinely innovative heater.

It also comes with a remote to control it from far away. The size is perfect and it is not too heavy. It has a handle so it is easy to move around from place to place. I was impressed with how fast it started to heat up - Although the first time I turned it on, there was a very strong plastic smell that lingered even after I turned it off. But that went away with time, so that’s not an issue. This unit is very easy to use and the remote is a nice little touch. Overall, I think it’s a staple if you are looking to warm up a small room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this heater from Influenster I was super excited. It looks so nice and high quality. It boasts so much on its heating power. But unless I got a defective one, this heater barely gets warm. I can not get it to make any difference in the small room. If you put yout hands in front of it the air is lightly warm at best. I have the theromstat on 90 and it still won't get over 70 on it in an alreadly warm or cold room. I am very disappointed. If I had paid for this, it would've definitely went back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Vornado Stainless Steal Space Heater for free from Influenster and Vornado in exchange for an honest review. I have been using this as of recent for after showers since it gets cold quick in the northeast. There are some pros and cons to this heater, firstly since this is on the smaller side it takes a bit longer to fight the cold air than a standing heater but, it was still able to heat my whole bathroom up to 70 within a half hour. Another pro is the power indicator that shows you how much energy you use while heating, only thing is is that it’s a bit hard to remember how to set it to show. Lastly, I find this heater to be super portable I would use this for camping or taking to hotel rooms. Overall I give this heater a 7/10.
