A: Vtech just told me they aren’t making the expansion packs anymore. Do not buy this product as you can no longer get the expansion packs. What a waste!

Q: Are the expansion packs for the Touch and Learn compatible with this model? We have a Touch and Learn that isn't working anymore and want a new desk toy that will work with the expansion pack we already have and not have to purchase new ones

The writing pad ruins it for smaller kids. Problem is, there’s a big red button on top of the writing pad that deploys it, then ONLY the writing pad responds to input. So, what 1-2 year old can resist pushing a big red button? Neither of mine. The end result is me having to listen to it describe how to write an “a” over and over and over while my kid (who is nowhere near learning to write) slams the thing up and down trying to get it to do something else. Teaching him to leave the stupid button alone has been unsuccessful. So, after one year of taking it away, hiding it, giving it back to see if he’s ready for it… I’m finally over it and it’s going in the garage sale bin!

I returned I bought this for an 22 month old. It did not keep his interest. I do not like the on off and volume is on the very front of the desk so that is all he played with maybe good for a three or four year old, but definitely not almost 2-year-old.

This educational toy may work for a dainty toddler. My grandson is in his climb and break down and put back together period. The table lacks stability and worse are the changeable mats that need to be inserted for play. I do not recommend this product.

Had this for a little over 9 months and it stopped working. She did not use it everyday, maybe 3 times a week for 15-20 minutes each time. I assumed the battery died went to replace it and it never work again! For $50 it is not worth it. Buyer beware also note the warranty is only 90 days

The desk was great while it lasted. After only 7 months, cartridges stopped working at all. All the expansions we bought became absolutely useless. Customer service and tech support was equally useless. They said the desk must be broken and there wasn't anything they could do about it. This toy is too much money to spend for it to not last more than a few months. Not worth it...

The table stopped functioning in the hand of a three year old after a few months and the warranty is 90 days. I won’t be purchasing any vtech products anymore knowing that they don’t even have faith in their own products.
