Q: Can you use it in the shower?
A: Yes. It's cordless when it's not charging.
submitted byJesNvancouver - 8 years agoA: Yes, it is a great place to use it.
submitted byhappySharon - 7 years agoA: From the Soecifications: May be Used in the Shower : No
submitted byRandall - 11 months agoA: Maybe because you used it in the shower that is why it stop working.
submitted byAnn - 4 years agoA: It can be used in the shower, as said, but the battery will not last long and it is not replaceable. So, throw the unit away and get a new one which is what I did if the battery is dead or does not charge..

Q: i will be travelling outside united states to countries with different power voltage. do i need to buy a travel charger to make it work over there or this portable cordless waterpik flosser works with both 110 and 220 voltage.
A: The box states clearly that a cord to connect the WaterPik tp the charger unit is included inside the box, but the charger unit that gets plugged into the wall is NOT INCLUDED.
submitted byJohn in MA - 1 year agoA: Yes, you need an adapter or converter if you plan on staying abroad too long.
submitted byanian - 8 years agoA: The cord that came with the water flosser is all you need.
submitted bycaringsmile - 9 years agoA: It's a rechargeable type battery. If you are going for about a week, a full charge before you leave will hold you over. If you are staying longer than a week, you will need an adapter to be able to charge.

Q: I rinse with melaleuca sometimes to combat tooth & gum pain. Can I add a few drops to the water in this machine?
A: In case you haven't received an acceptable answer yet, the description of this item states, "Please do not use ... tea tree oil (which is Melaleuca, though a lesser quality)...in the reservoir. Use of these additives will reduce the product performance and shorten the life of the product.
submitted byDee - 7 years agoA: You need to ask the manufacturer of Melaleuca to if it will hurt the Flosser. I add 2 tbs of mouth wash to a full tank and it works well.
submitted byanian - 8 years agoA: May be.. I am not sure. I add one table spoon of mouth wash in to the tank and it has not so far (6 months) caused any damage to the flosser. But when a dentist advised me to add some bleach, the system failed. So, it all depends on what chemicals melaleuca contains. You need to contact the manufacturer of Melaleuca and get advice.

Q: Is this water pik safe to use in the shower?!
A: Although I have owned one of these for the last 10 years, I have no personal experience with using this is the shower. However, my DH is an electrical engineer and I asked him. He says that as long as you don't open the battery compartment while the water is running in the shower, this should work fine.

Q: Isn't this the WP-360 and not the WP-365?
A: Yes, there is a WP365. I HAVE ONE.
submitted byanian - 7 years agoA: I have a WP360. I am not sure if they make 365

Q: I dropped the device and the blue tip broke off. Can't get the piece out that holds it to replace it. Any directions you can give me?
A: I did the same thing last night. I used a needle-nose pliers to get the tip out. But you also have to press in on the little ridged arrow just above the on-off button to release the tip.
submitted byLong Time User - 7 years agoA: I have not dropped mine yet, but I agree with the needle-nose piles is the best thing to use. I love my Cordless Waterpik, and use mine the shower because you don't have to spray all over, lol, it happened to me once.

Q: The water capacity is stated at 30.000 cubic-ft. Does this unit come with a separate tank at just over 3.1 feet in height, width, and depth, weighing in at 224 pounds to contain all of that water?
A: No. What you see is what you get. The attached water tank holds enough water for one use.
submitted byJesNvancouver - 8 years agoA: That must be a mistake. There is no separate tank for this cordless Waterpik. I've used this type waterpik for 5 years or so. They do wear out ever couple years.
