Great weighted vest for walking. I heard/read about all the benefits of rucking and this was my first little experiment into seeing if this was something I was going to enjoy. This vest is sort of an entry-level way into rucking. I’ve used it for about a month now on both treadmill and outdoor walks and I think it’s great. The straps do not dig in and I find it pretty comfortable. The weight is well distributed. I would not use it for running because with only one strap it’s gonna be moving around too much. I wish there was a 10 or 12 pound from this brand to step up. This is just about perfect, I would love this to have an extra front pocket that I’ve seen on some other vests to carry keys and phone, but otherwise this is a winner!

I love this weighted vest. I bought it in January of 2025 and have been using it weekly during both my treadmill and outdoor walks, and just during the day as I do housework. It is very comfortable, adjustable, easy to take on and off. I am 5’5, 36D and it fits perfectly. Highly recommend!

I ourchase a few 8 lbs vest of differnet styles and this was the most comfortable one. I barely feel the weight. Well distribute. The material is well made. Would love for them to have other weight as well.

This is such a awesome way to level up your walks or runs. I use it to walk for an hour on the treadmill. It has helped me get back into fitness and I like it so much I'm going to purchase a heavier one. It fits great and does not hurt your back or shoulders. I highly suggest getting this, you won't regret it!

Quality material good weight however I’m a small or medium in most target items and this fully extended barely buckles it’s tight . I’m not sure how this fits anyone beyond a medium I suppose you don’t need to buckle not but I wear it for jogging , hiking, chores I feel like I can barely breath it’s so tight.

Ok, so I heard about these weighted vests and I was concerned that I would feel like I was wearing a boating vest in the heat of Florida in the summer while walking. But, I was pleasantly surprised. The vest is not constrictive or even very hot to wear. I wore a short sleeve athletic top under my vest so there was no chafing. I felt like the weight is evenly distributed and I had good posture while walking. I think my walk was harder, so that must mean that I am burning more calories!

I bought this vest because I felt I had plateaued with my cardio routines (elliptical and stairmaster). Leveling up was putting too much strain on my knees. I needed something more, resistance-wise. This vest did the trick. I use it every day at the gym for an hour and a half while on the machines. I really work up a great sweat without the added stress on my knees. When I get home, I turn it inside out and hang it in the garage to dry. For reference, I am 5’3”, 119 pounds and have been using it for about a month. It was comfortable right out of the box. The first few times using it, I was exhausted at night but I slept so deeply, so that was a positive. Now, I notice I am stronger and lighter. I look forward to trying a 10 pound version in a few months if Target sells one in this brand.

This is a great addition to your work out routine. I am using this with my daughters who pitch fastpitch softball. It seemed to work well at adding the weight in a balanced manner. The biggest complaint they have it that it’s bigger and doesn’t seem to be adjustable around the chest area. So their arms were rubbing where it stuck out. It was easy to put on and take off and stayed secure and didn’t flop around.
