Always a problem

I've been using ladders to paint house the last 20 years and have always used Werner ladders. When I bought this ladder and similar style 24 ft ladder I had issues right off the bat. It truly only comes down to one aspect of the ladder that is a problem. The rung stops are to short and always get caught when trying to get the ladder down. It is aggravating to say the least and wastes so much time on a job site. I don't like buying the longer ladders in the 300lb category because they are heavier to haul around daily but they can have the long stops at least. So if you need to use a ladder no more then a small handful of times in a year then this could be an option for you. If you are using your ladders on a regular basis then make sure you buy the ladders with the longer rung stops.

the plastic flippers catch on the steps so they won't slide past so you can't bring the ladder down. needs metal flippers. bad design.
