Not for skin that’s even slightly sensitive

Seemed to work okay for about 5-10 minutes before I started to break out horribly. The skin test didn’t show any irritation beforehand. I barely had enough time to apply my foundation over it. I’ve never had a product make me immediately break out into tons of little pimples like that within just a few minutes. This was the only product I had issues with.

    I Feel So Pretty!!!

I bought this 2 weeks ago. I have used it under my makeup and without makeup. I am 50, with 50 year old large pores. I mainly noticed first thing the text, if feels so luxurious. The silicone is definitely not needed for this primer because it works beautifully, smoothly, and intently. It goes on so smooth, and stays smooth and even from the time I apply it until it's time to remove it. It is the real deal for me whether I am working in or out. It has become my new favorite primer. Right now it is a cold winter and my face is in complete T-Zone to Eek-Zone combination dry, oil, patchy, red, itchy, and sore season. So for me this primer is saving my face this winter. I like it and I am actually looking forward to our Midwest 115°F humidity days just to use this primer. I am even willing to bet my complexion looks better in the Summer 2025 than it ever has before.. Thank you Wet & Wild for being innovative and affordable!

I don’t like it at all. I found it to be very drying on my skin. It doesn’t give me the smooth base I’m hoping for. It might work better for someone with oilier skin, but for me, it wasn’t a good fit.

The best blurring primer from the drug store! This isn’t like the sticky silicone ones, but instead a soft almost gel like that blends into the skin beautifully! My makeup always sits on top great and I’ve never had issues with pilling around my nose

This used to be incredible. They changed the formula in early 2024 maybe? It’s noww white, so hard to get out of the tube, and once it is out of the tube it flies everywhere. It used to be almost milky and comes out of the tube well. Once on the face it feels as though it does nothing.

The packaging is a pretty color. There is a slight scent but it actually smells good. The texture is smooth but very thick. I was disappointed when I went to apply it and a big glob fell. I didn't think it was easy to rub on my face so there wasn't much coverage. Not my favorite compared to other brands.

I do not like this primer. I feel like I wasted my money. It doesn’t do anything for my foundation besides make it goopy and feel heavier than when I wear full coverage foundation. I tried every foundation, every type of weather, and nothing worked. I do not recommend this primer. It says Silicone-free, but I highly doubt it.

Wonderful Primer at an Amazing Price!

I have loved Wet n Wild ‘s cosmetics for many years, and with products like their Impossible Primer, they continue to amaze me. The quality of their products for the very affordable prices blow my mind. They do not skimp on quality, but rather make products that can hold their own against even high-end makeup. I bought the Wet n Wild Impossible Primer, because I already had the Impossible Primer Stick and loved it, so I wanted to see how the liquid version performed. I’m so glad I bought it! It feels velvety smooth, and glides across my skin for easy application. It feels like my silicone-based pore-minimizing primers, yet it doesn’t contain silicone. It smooths and blurs my skin for an easy and flawless foundation application, and helps my makeup to last longer. I am so impressed with the Wet n Wild Impossible Primer. It works so well and is such a wonderful value for the price. It’s great to know there’s a brand out there that cares about quality and keeping prices low for consumers.

THE Holy Grail for Flawless Makeup

If I could, I would be the spokeswoman for this primer. After you read this, I think you’ll agree lol. It’s actually like a suit of armor for your makeup! It gives your skin a smooth, blurred, flawless look and feel (even if you don’t wear makeup!). I have the most problematic skin; sensitive, textured, fine lines, big pores, acne prone, sweaty, sometimes oily, sometimes dry, sometimes combo - if you can imagine such a thing. I’ve struggled for about a decade to find the right combination of products for flawless makeup. And I was a manager at Ulta, so that’s how you know I’ve tried everything - prestige and drugstore. I must say that this is the end all, be all! As long as I use this, just about ANY makeup I use will not separate, cake, sweat off, get patchy, or emphasize pores or texture. It just makes me look absolutely flawless from early morning into the late night! And with how troubled my skin actually is, that’s truly saying something. I swear there’s nothing like it out there, it really is, quite literally, impossible! And for the price, you can’t beat it. Plus, it’s silicone-free, so you can feel better about putting it on your skin vs other primers. Give it a try, I’m positive you’ll love it too!! <3

I mean, it's cruelty free, affordable, it has good packaging, I like the texture and that I can't notice that much of a fragrance but I don't feel that different when I apply it on my skin, with or without foundation I don't notice a thing, and it's supposed to minimize pores... Having the stick and this particular presentation, I like this one better, as it's more hygienic.

This is pretty good for being a non silicone primer. At least for me, it’s a little hard to get the product out of the tube. I definitely need to add little elbow grease when rubbing the product on my face. My foundation applies beautifully on top of the primer. It does help the longevity but not as great as my other favorite primer. There is no scent. Would repurchase if it was on sale.

I broke out after using this. Bcuz my face is EXTREMELY sensitive to everything...it sometimes takes my body & face time to adjust to everything. So although it made me break out..it might not do that to someone else. LUV the price point!!

Probably the absolute best drug store primer to exist. It’s water based but acts just like a silicone primer, making your water based foundations look great without the pores. I also notice that I have a less oily face when using this primer. I have gone through at least 5 bottles, and have 2 back ups.

I have oily/sensitive/acne-prone skin, and needed a water-based primer to pair up with my water-based serum foundation, and this stuff works perfectly. It feels slick on the skin but also has grip, and it makes my makeup look so good and lasts. Big fan!
