Not for everyone

Not to put the pump down but do your research before spending that much money on a pump. Besides a good amount of flip issues, look up Mammary Dysbiosis due to the way that the Willow Pump functions. I’m always blocked, huge clogs half in half out of the nipple, booger like clogs coming out after pumping. My poor nipples hurt so much and are just torn up constantly and won’t heal. I didn’t know it was the pump causing it I thought I was just being a baby until I saw a lactation consultant.

They are great pumps, now that they've been updated. I use them as a substitute teacher and they work very well. I have both the compartment attachments and the bag attachments.

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

Disliked everything. It was very heavy, would have tons of errors pop up. I reached out to Willow for replacements since mine barely worked and The replacements lasted about a week. I would never suggest these. I did switch over to the mom cozy V2 and it is spectacular! There are no errors it's easy to use easy to clean straightforward. Does everything I need it to do. Don't purchase Willow products!!!

these pumps are life savers and help so much with pumping at night and on the go with two kids at home but issues keep coming up wether it’s with the containers or the pump itself, one of them randomly broke while pumping although they’re sending another one it’s a huge inconvenience especially because i exclusively pump

Disappointed

I have had nothing but issues with these pump. For the price of the pump I should not be having as many issues as I have been. Most of the time the pump doesn’t connect properly and acts as if it’s expressing way more milk than it is. I also am no having issues with it latching / suctioning. I’m currently using the right pump on both sides and that’s just not practical.

I used to have a different wearable pump. I won’t say the brand, but the model was s12 pro. They hurt so bad and I was miserable, but I had to do what I had to do while I was at work (I’m a server), and I thought I was getting good output. Then my husband ordered me the Willow 360. And let me tell you I LOVE this pump and I actually look forward to pumping at work now, or in the car, or in the grocery store, or at lunch with my friends and family. I get almost the same mount as with my wall pump. They’re so comfortable, and really easy to use and empty have a couple of uses to get the hang of it all. I’m super mega ultra busy, and they work like a dream and do not look crazy when I have them on. Yes they make noise, they’re motorized breast pumps! But it’s honestly not loud. They go unnoticed unless using in dead silence. When you order these, definitely read online the tips and tricks to adjust your body to fully respond to Willow 360. It really is different than all other pumps, but it is sssooo worth the learning curve. Trust me when I say you need these and they’re a total game changer!

Wouldn’t recommend

This pump is a necessary evil. As a health care worker, I need to use a wearable pump on shift because I wouldn’t get enough time to leave my shift and pump for 20 minutes, 3 times a day. I’ve been using the 3.0 for the past 2 months and it’s just alright. No matter what I do, I can’t get my output to compare to my Spectra, sometimes I’ll get half the volume I’d get using a regular pump. I have tried everything, multiple flange sizes, various bras, the adjustment period, and nothing has helped. This pump just does not empty, fluctuates between uncomfortable to downright painful, and contributed to getting mastitis. Would not recommend to a friend. Will be trying other wearables.

I have used multiple pumps before and the willow is wonderful, every 20 min pump I get a large amount of volume for my baby. I can move with it on I don’t feel restricted. I would recommend this to any busy mom who needs a wearable pump. I also have never lost milk with the willow like I have with other wearable pumps.

Pumping becomes easy after willow 360, didn’t try this pump while working out so I’m not sure if it actually leak proof. Only downside I have noticed it’s relatively heavy and bulky to use at work

These pumps are so bulky and heavy. The company has done a great job at advertising them to not show that. I don’t know how someone would walk around and do functional tasks with them on. If I could exchange them for something else, I would.

Love the versatility

I love that there are 2 options for these pumps for collecting milk. You can directly pump into bags (great for traveling-not so great if you only get an ounce or less) or you can buy the containers and use those.I purchased the containers with the correct size flange and use those the majority of the time. Big downfall is that they are super hard to clean with a sponge/brush/cloth.The app is also nice that it tells you how much you have collected at any point during the pumping session and it’s pretty accurate most of the time. Connecting to the Apple Watch is a plus as well.I am able to get 5-6 sessions at work before needing to recharge and using the fridge method instead of fully cleaning between sessions. One downfall is that you can’t go back and forth between stimulation and expression modes like the Willow Go. If that could be updated, these would be fantastic!Overall, I really like this pump.

Great pump just a little painful

Pump works great, love the app to review pumping session and history. The expression however is painful but empties the breast better than other wearable pumps on the market for less time. The shape makes it easier to wear in bra. If would give less discomfort than would give 5 stars.

Waste of $

These pumps are HUGE. It would be one thing if they worked but it takes forever to get milk out. I have a great supply of milk and with my Spectra it takes me 4 mins per side to get roughly 3-4 oz total. It takes me about 8 minutes to get 1.5 oz from one side with these. Every time I think about how much I spent on them vs the spectra I got for free from insurance I want to puke.

Love/Hate Relationship

I am 2 weeks postpartum with my second daughter. My first daughter was a NICU baby which led to 10 months of exclusively pumping. I used a MomCozy my first breastfeeding experience, which was good while it lasted but it quickly deteriorated, got discolored, etc. I had the Willow pump on my short list of “would love to have” for this go around. At this point I’ve used the hospital pump, Willow, MomCozy, and the lanisoh wearable. What I love:- it empty’s my breasts way faster than the other options- pumping directly into self sealing bags- only 2 parts to clean- charges quickly- discreet & quiet- the app & watch comparabilityWhat I don’t love:- the suction is intense at first, unlike any other pump I’ve used. It sort of stings, but I get used to it quickly.- the price for bags/containers/extra parts. It’s a little ridiculous how much money you can spend having this pump.- the pump bags & container only hold 4oz & I typically pump 6oz per session, so that’s a little frustrating! All in all, I would recommend it but only if you have another option on hand too. I’ve run out of bags & don’t have a container yet. Can’t find bags in stores so having to use another pump while I wait on bags to come in. I also hear the container is really finicky, so will likely only use the Willow when I know the milk will go into the freezer. All that to say, the increased milk production has outweighed all the cons for me & definitely going to keep using it.If it weren’t so pricey, I’d probably give it a 4-5 star, but the cost really can be overwhelming.

I have the Spectra S1, Lansinoh Duo Wireless, and Willow 3.0. Willow pumps the least. It is the loudest and the most uncomfortable. Save your money and get the Lansinoh. It’s as good as Spectra S1 and way better than Willow 3.0.
