Only last 2mths if your lucky. The manufacturer will replace it but you have to go through a lot of hoops. My for a replacement and it died within a week. Do not buy it or have it go through insurance they are trash. They should be taken off the market world wide.

Bad suction

It was really disappointing to waste my money on this breast pump. I have always used Medela Breast Pump for each of my previous breastfeeding journeys and this one has been a total disappointment. The quality suction of this pump is really bad. After 15 minutes pumping all I can collect is nothing more than 2 oz, not to say that it makes my nipples sore. Very different from the Medela Hospital Grade pump that I was renting before I bought this one, with that one I was pumping out 10 oz on the same amount of time. This Medela Pump In Style is a bad design, poor and inefficient, which is the last thing a lactating mom needs. I do not recommend anyone to waste their money on this product. I have always love the Medela brand, but this pump is a product that they should really discontinue.

Liked that the pump only has a 3 parts to wash..but the pump is terrible! I initially bought this through insurance because Medela is a trusted brand at the hospital. I was a mom new to pumping and gosh my first month experience was horrible. Every time I turn on the Medela pump I clench my teeth. Once powered on its set to a certain suction snd it was painful! I always had to lower it down every time then manually work my suction up. Hated that you’re still idle in one place with this pump! Felt I’m wasting my time stuck to a wall while I have 3 kids to tend to. I switched from Medela to the Willow Go and it was night and day difference. Don’t waste your money on this pump and just buy the Willow Go!

You can't move or the pump stops working. Mine doesn't turn on at all anymore. Plug for outlet on pump felt like it was going to break from beginning and it did.

I love the fact that it was hands-free what I dislike is it the pump did not work the first day it didn’t work I was able to pump an ounce. The second day the pump was not working. The machine turns on and everything but nothing comes out. Try with a handheld pump and I was able to get four or 5 ounces re-try it again after cleaning it no sanction came out really sad expensive for no reason

Good pump…when it works

I bought this for the hands free aspect and because it could be battery operated. But…the battery pack is external and woth8 batteries, it’s super heavy so you can’t really be mobile with it. The power outlet is also very faulty. I’m on my second pump after the first broke within a day. The connection to the plug in is loose or faulty in this design and I’m sure the heavy battery pack doesn’t help. If I do much as touch the pump while it’s on, it shuts off. Sometimes I think just looking at it the wrong way shuts it off! Do not recommend as a mobile option.

Got this as a gift from my baby shower and I’m very dissatisfied with it’s performance. This pump has very little suction that you can be pumping past 20 mins and get barely any milk pulled out. Your left with painful breast due to them not being fully emptied by this pump. I don’t recommend at all.

Beyond disappointed and frustrated with pump

I just received this pump today and was very excited to use it. I'm beyond disappointed in the pump it leaked all over me. I have never been so frustrated as I just got home from the hospital last night, and any breastfeeding mom knows the colostrum is gold. I started to pump was a few minutes in when I realized I was all wet. I wanted to cry knowing I lost all that colostrum. I would not recommend this pump and upset I wasted my free insurance pump on this.

Save yourself the trouble and don't bother. Simply put, this pump is terrible. Unlike other pumps, there's no way to tell what number/level you're on and good luck remembering. It was a hassle every time I needed to pump because you had to start over everytime. It doesn't remember what level you left off at, so you program it everytime. The only good thing is that it's compact. But everything else was crap.

And the motor don’t get me started. It’s like a giant truck running right next to you. The motor literally drives me mad. And the suction is terrible. I am absolutely miserable using this pump

I bought this almost two months ago and I really really wanted to like it. Sadly no matter what I did or tried this pump was not it. I cannot find any insterts for my nipple size that fit well into the collection cups, I cannot continue to pump with this pump as it hurts too much during my milk let down. Besides the sizing this pump suction doesn't last. I find myself continuously messing with the settings during my 30 min pump, the suction decreases as time goes on and im spam pushing my plus sign to keep it at the highest suction level. THe battery pack for using it on the go doesn't last. When plugged in the pump is so loud and moves SOOO much from the vibration that it knocks over no matter what surface its on and makes the pump stop pumping. I tried really hard to like this pump and chose this pump based of other good reviews in hopes it will help increase my supply but I've only seen a decrease. I unfortunately did not get this pump through insurance and paid out of pocket and could not return it. Sincerely, one sad mama.
