Highly recommend the Xenoblade trilogy to anyone who lives open world games or Japanese role playing games. Also definitely one of the more impressive games that run on the switch.

I played my first Xenoblade game not too long ago. Around October 2022(digital) It was Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Probably tied with Breath Of The Wild for my favorite switch game. It had basically everything I wanted: -Fun Gameplay (might be slow for some) -Great Music -Great World -Great Story -Cute Anime Waifu's And i'm happy to say Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was able to give me MOSTLY all I wanted. It still had great music and a great story. The waifu's are still there (not as good as 2's waifu's though). The graphics have improved. Being able to switch characters in the middle of a battle was a REALLY welcome addition. But the world... as beautiful as it is.... it didn't make me gawk from the beauty of it. Xenoblade 2's world was so varied and colorful, and going back from Xenoblade 3's world... it's just somewhat blander. Don't get me wrong, compared to most games the world is amazing, but it wasn't the same. TL:DR; Best Girl is Nia. In Both Xenoblade 2 and 3.

Mio best girl. Game was fun and references the previous games a lot while still managing to feel like it’s own game
It's almost as good as 2

I'm a huge fan of the series and was looking forward to this. It's almost as good as the second game.
1st one is still the best.

The gameplay is great and many things have improved, but the story isn’t nearly as interesting or fleshed out. This didn’t feel like an end to the trilogy and certainly didn’t leave me feeling like I had just had a huge adventure like 1 and even two accomplished. Oh and bring back Jin.
A true masterpiece

Just within one hour of this game, I was absolutely amazed at how much was happening already. The battle system is really good, the music is amazing as always, the environment looks amazing, but Nintendo Switch isn’t too powerful to showcase the most beautiful graphics, and the story is absolutely gorgeous. The story is wonderful theme of life and death and a story that keeps you engaged. Absolutely loving the game, I definitely recommend this masterpiece.

I mean this game is just a fantastic closer to the Xenoblade story! It also works exceptionally well as a standalone story! Best cast out of any Xenoblade game so far and the gameplay is a great mix of the first and second games! 10/10
Great Chronicles game so far, graphics could be improved.

What you need to know. You can play this without ever having touched 1, 2, Golden Country or X. This game has its own story and it starts with several anime in the tutorial to get you clear on what is going on and who is who. The battle system has been dumbed down from Chronicles 2, but you still get lots of things on the screen. Author is the same as 2, so expect a great story. Looks very promising. The only big downfall is the background areas are very drab, and cluttered. Im not to sure about the way items are displayed on the field, I thought Golden County got it right. Overall it seems like a game that once you get into it you won't be able to put it down, and I have read you can spend 150 hours with it. Definately worth the money. There is a also DLC pack that is definatly worth buying. If you are into Tales games, Dragon Quest, Ys or Final Fantasy, this is one to get.
