[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old stew pot was 47 years old. It had warped with age and I purchased this Vitale 6qt pot as a replacement and am very happy with this dutch oven. I was debating getting a cast iron dutch oven however I found them too heavy empty let alone when they were full. This Vitale pot is perfect for braising, sauteing on the stove top and it can go in the oven as well which is a feature I was looking for! Clean up was a breeze!
