Q: Is this mattress dual sided - one for infant and the other for toddler?

A: No. I thought t was when I purchased it, but could never tell the difference. Emailed customer care and found out it wasn’t. But our infant and toddler slept on it for 3+ years and loved it!

Q: I love how the exterior is polyethylene. But what is the foam core made of? It also says it's non-toxic, but under safety information it's his flame retardant are used?

A: It's probably densified polyester. I believe the material is naturally flame retardant. I wrote the manufacturer and asked what the inner material was and this was their response: "Lullaby Earth mattresses are made from food-grade polyethylene and polyester, materials used throughout the food packaging industry due to their recyclability. Using these food-safe materials means that our crib mattresses are made without common potential allergens or chemicals like formaldehyde, perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), pesticides, glues/adhesives, and GMOs. Our mattresses are made without polyurethane foam and vinyl/PVC. Lullaby Earth baby crib mattresses easily pass all government flammability standards without the use of flame retardant chemicals."

For some reason, I decided to spend hours researching crib mattresses while pregnant. It felt like a huge decision at the time. I kept debating between splurging on the $300 Newton and just buying a $80-ish dollar Serta (or something similar) with good reviews. I decided to compromise on this mattress, and I'm glad I did. So far I've been very happy. It's easy to clean and change the crib sheet. It fits very well in my DaVinci crib. And my baby sleeps great at night. What more could I ask for?

I love this mattress! I love how it's a non-toxic option for my baby and it's cheaper than the Naturepedic mattress. Bag or box it came in was not damaged compared to other stores I've used. It arrived here sooner than it said on the website which was absolutely wonderful as this was the last thing we needed for baby's nursery and are expecting baby anytime now. First time shopping online at target and loved it. Will definitely keep shopping!!

Loved this so much I bought it again for our second baby. Our toddler sleeps well on this and I love that it has remained firm these last 15 months. It’s so light and makes sheet changes easy. There are no gaps and the all the sheets we have fit perfectly.

Our twins have used this mattress since birth. They are now 2 years old and their mattresses are still holding up well. I do use a mattress pad for a little more cushion. We just bought a third mattress for our newest's nursery. I like that it's made with safe materials and is waterproof at a more attainable price than Naturepedic.

We've only been using this mattress for 2 months and it is already sagging in the middle. My daughter is 7 months old and I expected this mattress to last for years based on the good reviews. I will be requesting a refund for this product.

Have purchased many of these: first for my sister in law, then for my sister, one for myself, for my other sister, and finally a second for the first sister! Anyway, the four of us love this mattress. Our babies sleep well. We sleep well knowing our babies are on a safe, firm surface. Good information on the Healthy Child, Healthy World website. Worth it...even though it is a lot of money for us!

I loved this mattress so much for my son that I bought the exact same one for my 2nd baby on the way. It's so lightweight that changing the sheet is a breeze. It's waterproof so no waterproof mattress pad is needed. I just wipe it down with a cleaning wipe when needed. My son sleeps 12 hours at night on this mattress.

I love my Lullaby Earth mattress! It's so light, and durable too! Naturepedic makes incredibly high quality organic products, and this line makes them affordable. I know $170 seems high for a crib mattress, but I have 4 kids, and this mattress is better than any cheap one we have tried. It's comfortable, holds its shape, and fits great in the crib or toddler bed. Don't hesitate- the customer service is excellent too!

I love this mattress! It's waterproof, anti-everything, and extremely lightweight. Yes, it's firm but, they're supposed to be that way. We couldn't be happier and what's more, the price point is very affordable.

I bought this crib mattress because of the reviews I had read online and I'm honestly shocked it has such good reviews. I took the mattress out of the box and the mattress is extremely hard. I would compare it to sleeping on the floor. This was suppose to be for my second LO and I'm highly disappointed. I'll be returning it this weekend.

I am so far so pleased with my purchase. I had heard about how lightweight and non-toxic it was from a friend. And, it is! I highly recommend this mattress. And the price is phenominal!
