Q: Does this work on dirty outdoor grout

A: It should. Pretreat the grout by passing the steam nozzle across to loosen/soften the dirt, then go over it with one of the brushes that come with the steamer. I've found that taking a pass or two over whatever surface I want to clean helps, kind of like soaking dishes before washing.

Q: I am shopping for a steam mop, what is the temp of the steam on this mop?

A: I haven't measured the temperature but it is hot, like a really good steam iron hot. The surface that is treated does not stay that hot but you certainly don't want to put your hand near it. I got too close by accident when cleaning the sink and it was like an oven.

A: Hi Patty. We only recommend using distilled water in your steam mop. We do have scent discs you can use in the mop pad for fragrance.

Our floors are of hard wood nature. With the use of the steamer mop and scented disks , there is no need for wax. I use to dread mopping due to spillage, but now it is a pleasure. Thank you Bissell.

I bought more pads online but just as they came in and I go to use the mop again then the steamer won't work. I've tried running vinegar thru the machine and all it does is leak. I can hear the pump running but no steam. Again happy when it worked but very disappointed that it was very short lived.
