Q: Can it get into corners?

A: No Not really. It mops well , but it’s hard getting into corners because the pads are circular and bump into a wall when trying to reach the tight corners

A: It does very well almost so much that it will pull itself forward and into corners you have to hold it back but it's not hard or heavy

A: This unit is designed for use on most hard floor surfaces. We recommend that you first test an isolated area of the surface to be cleaned and review the use and care instructions from the floor manufacturer. Shouldn't be used on wax-polished floors, unsealed or unglazed ceramic floors.

A: No, the Steam & Scrub cannot be used without steam. The spinning pads only activate once a steam mode (Light or Normal) is selected and the handle is reclined. The unit is designed to operate with both steam and spinning action simultaneously.

I’ve purchased this twice in less than a year. It works great, when it works. Unfortunately on both occasions I’ve found that to be about 4-5 months with once a week use. It steams well. The first time, about 5 months in, it stopped standing on its own, toppled over and the handle broke, making it no longer turn on. I liked it and assumed maybe it was a fluke, bought another around Black Friday on sale. Now here we are in April and the compartment door to fill it with water has broken and won’t open, making it inoperable. I’m not hard on cleaning tools. I’ve had a Dyson for years that works great. I have a tineco and a shinely steamer, all in perfect condition. I will never buy anything from shark again. A good product can’t make up for Terrible quality that doesn’t last. Currently researching a replacement that doesn’t break in less than 6 months.

Awful. I could tell as it was working that it was not actually cleaning my floors so after I was done using it, I decided to use the swiffer wet mop to see how dirty my floors still were. Attached is a picture of the swiffer wet pad used right after this shark steam mop….. and this was just for one room. This mop basically did nothing and isn’t worth $20, let alone the $120 I paid for it. Didn’t expect this at all from a company like Shark. I’ve reached out to Shark to see if they will give me some kind of refund or compensation and I will update my review if they do.

Used 1 time and did not seem to get as much dirt as I do with my Shark steamer. I had hoped with the circular scrubbing I would see more dirt. I have a 61# golden retriever who nbrings in a little dirt! Also doesn't do inverted 90 degree angles, I didn’t expect it would but one of the FAQ's posted indicated it did.

I have used on tile grouted floor and sealed hardwood a few times. I’m thrilled with this product. I vacuum first. I use distilled water and change the pads every 2 rooms. I purchased extra pads. If the kitchen (tile floor) is very dirty, I change the pads before moving on. I have no swirl marks even in direct sunlight, as others mention. This unit has the built in water tank. It is not removable. I prefer that because in other steamers I’ve owned, the rubber seal on the removable tank can fail. It also does not have the steam blast feature in the more expensive model, which I find is not needed. Just let it rotate for longer on any tough spots. It does a fantastic job cleaning the floors. I use it on the floor of a walk-in shower, too. The sealed hardwood shines. I find it very easy and convenient to use. I wash the pads in washing machine on hot with a tablespoon of bleach, then air dry. The water tank has to be refilled about every 2 rooms. I paid for this unit myself, but I did get it at half the listed price (on sale). I can’t speak to how long it will last.

I’ve used it twice so far and am very impressed! Minimal effort to use but maximum cleaning power. One fill of the water tank is enough to clean my 600sq ft studio apartment, any bigger space would definitely need multiple fills. The pads are easy to remove and toss into the wash.

This is actually our second purchase of this steam mop, we originally purchased it to use/leave at our AirBNB space and loved it enough to buy it for home! It is so easy to use, I feel like the tank lasts long enough for me to mop almost my entire kitchen/dining/living area. You can instantly see the results and I don’t have to worry about dumping out dirty mop bucket water. We’ve had it for over 2 years and have had zero issues, the cord reaches long enough for our open concept living area to not have to unplug and move many times. Highly recommend!

Purchased this new on line because the store didn't have any. What was delivered was a used unit with new pads. Target won't exchange it, will only refund the purchase but won't refund the purchase of the extended warranty that was also purchased.
