Rubbermaid Roughneck 18 Gal Plastic Holiday Storage Tote

I've had Rubbermaid bins like this given to me by my parents. They've lasted through about a dozen moves and they are still going strong. Compared to other bins I've bought from other companies or ones my husband has bought, these do not crack or bust after being stacked and filled up heavy. Since having a child of my own and needing to store baby items and holiday decorations I knew I needed more storage containers and that these are the only real choice for that. Super durable and worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a retired elementary school teacher. I just recently acquired a set of 6 Rubbermaid storage totes. I have a lot of experience with the Rubbermaid brand tote. I used these in my classroom cubbies for years. It was a place where students could store their supplies. They were opening and closing these several times a day throughout the school year. At the end of the year I would wash them out and use them again, year after year. They are tough and can take a lot of use and abuse and still look great. In the classroom, I also used them to store and organize scissors, rulers, building blocks, small puzzles, etc. I am using this set of six storage containers at home for crafts and sewing. The size is perfect. Outer dimensions (L x W x H) measure 15.69 x 10.63 x 7 inches and inner dimensions (L x W x H) measure 11.5 x 7.5 x 6.69 inches. I like that they are stackable and they are good for storing toys, photos, greeting cards or whatever it is that you want to preserve. It will keep moisture out and will resist cracking. Best of all, they are made in the USA.

Am working on getting rid of some things and I don't have a lot of storage but this boxes are the perfect sice to keep what matters and prevent insects or dirt to get in to my stuff. These storage containers will not protect stored items from moisture. Yes, they have lids but they are the typical lid found on the tubs in store. No special seal. I'm not sure why they're priced so much higher. Disappointed!

Exactly what I needed! Great for storing clothes.

I love these containers-have used them for years. It used to be easy to pick them up at a store- tops and bottoms that went together- now very hard to do. Paid too much, but for the speed, convenience and no aggravation, it was worth it.
