I prefer the feel of this on my hair over the Kenra, which comes out with a more sticky, hairspray ish feel to it that I don't like. There is no hairspray feel to Hot Toddy, but I am wondering one thing. To me, this product feels and smells exactly like Sparkling Soda from the Drybar line. I can't help but wonder if it's the same thing with a different label? Anyhow, if you hate the way most thermal protectants feel, you'll probably like this.

I'm always on the hunt for a new heat protectant... This was so disappointing. The smell is absolutely disgusting when someone said in the reviews that it smelled like burnt vanilla cigarettes... I understood as soon as I tried it. It is disgustingly sticky !!! And I made the mistake of putting it all over my hair before sectioning and straightening it, so to detangler, my hair was a freaking nightmare!!! Sad I used my points on this because now I know it's gonna be a nightmare to try to get them back if I return it it feels like I put a can of dry shampoo in my hair, but it smells disgusting.

I passionately hate this product just because of the smell. I thought It worked well though to add texture and grip for curling my hair, like a texture spray heat protectant. I just cannot get over how badly this smells. I tried to use it up but at this point it's making my whole bathroom smell horrible for days. smells sickening and like burnt vanilla cigarettes

This spray is by far the best heat protectant dry spray I've tried and I've tried many! It smells good and feels great. It's not sticky at all. The mist is so fine and doesn't leave any sort of residue like some I've tried.

I use prep rally and LOVE it, so I assumed that I would like this just as much. I was wrong - it leaves my hair feeling like it's full of product, and same day, next at best, it looks gross like it needs washed BADLY like it's loaded with hairspray.
i would buy this product again!
