I bought it for the holiday turkey. Despite 3 adults including a biomedical engineer, etc., there was no response from the meter! Target accepted it without an issue and I relied on the turkey's pop up thermometer!

Love the LED display, back-light, and timer. The length of the cord for the probe is plenty long. There are multiple ways of securing the thermometer outside the oven with a magnet, base stand, or hanging hole. There are preset temperatures by meat type or you can set a custom temperature. Great thermometer!

Probe thermometer for meat temperatures- this one has a couple more features than my other one, and I really like how it has a built in meat setting and label on the side. All you have to do is select your type of meat and it automatically sets to the proper temp. The only thing I disliked about this is how loudly it beeps when it turns on and reaches for the desired temp.

The ThermoPro TP16SW Digital Thermometer works perfectly. The digital display is easy to see and read. It is easy to use and set custom temperatures. It also has preset temperatures. Insert the probe into the food, set temperature and timer. I like that I do not have to keep opening the oven or grill, the timer will beep when the meat is finished cooking. The probe wire has a good length. The backlit display is a bonus. The thermometer is compact and has multiple mounting options, which is nice. It also fits in a drawer when not in use. The ThermoPro is much easier to use than the old fashion thermometer. I was impressed with how accurate and consistent the thermometer is.

This thermometer is great! I love that it's small, compact, digital, and very easy to use. You can preset temperatures, set alarms and countdowns and it also has a very handy magnetic backing!!!!!!!!

Easy to use and configure digital meat thermometer. Took some adjustments to ensure the correct placement of the probe, but worked great. Highly recommended. Easy to care for / clean. Battery life is decent.

To use. If the purpose is to cook to a temperature then setting the thernometer is fairly easy, just use the up/down arrows or the meat/set button If you want to use the tiimer then it gets a bit trickier, and no so inutitive. While I like the temperature setting, most of my use is for the timer, and I just find this too ackward compared to other thermometer/timers.
