Q: Is there a warranty? I've bought similar pumps before that were fantastic until the suction started to die out. I'm afraid to spend the money on this and the same thing happen w/o warranty.

  • A: Hi Melissa, Thank you for your question. Our Wearable Breast Pump comes with a 1-year motor warranty.

  • A: Not if you buy through Target. The motors stopped working properly and Lansinoh refused to exchange them. Terrible experience with the product and customer service. Wouldn't recommend at ALL.

Q: Can this be placed in a sterilizer?

submitted by Mel - 5 months ago
  • A: Hello Mel, thank you for your question. We recommend cleaning the parts in warm, soapy water after each use. To disinfect the parts, we recommend placing the parts into a pot with enough water to make sure they are covered. Please ensure they do not come in contact with the bottom or sides of the pot. The parts can be boiled up to 5 minutes. If you have any other questions, please send an email to wecare@lansinoh.com. Thank you.

I loved this pump at first, however it didn’t last. Less than a year and one quit on me. I only used the pumps a little bit here and there as I’m a sahm. Mostly to relieve pressure as baby slept through the night longer stretches. If you were to need this to work daily for multiple pumps per day I would imagine 3 months is all you’d get. Maybe less.

Horrible quality and design!! I thought these would be amazing for on the go if I had to pump or a back up pump J.I.C but the milk is horrible to get out it makes a mess and keeps some from getting out meaning wasting milk. The design is horrible because they are huge and very hard to put on. When sucking you have to use it at the highest setting to even get a couple drops and it doesn’t even pull out milk! Do not even try to use these for colostrum either you will be very sore the next week and get nothing out. This is the 3rd pump I have had from Lansinoh and they are all garbage the second was a replacement because there regular one just quit working. My MIL purchased an older medela never used pump for me and I am so beyond impressed with the quality and durability. I won’t be supporting this brand again.

Regret Purchasing, Do Not Make the Same Mistake

I went through insurance to get this and I regret it everyday. These are a pain to wear with how bulky and difficult to maneuver in a bra, they do not work as they say they are going to because I cannot get any milk using these but can switch to my Spectra and have NO issue getting a full supply. I bought these thinking they were going to be the best and really help pumping in the go, but these have made pumping an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this product at all.

Hi there, We are sorry to hear about your experience. For peak performance, it is important to make sure you are using the proper flange size for your breasts. Additionally, please be sure to press the flange firmly against the breast, leaving no gaps, and make sure your nipples are centered. We recommend keeping the pump upright. Be careful not to distort the position of the pump and the chest, otherwise, the breast pump will not have suction. With that said, we would like to gather some additional information. Please be on the lookout for a message from us.

    Regret buying this pump

I bought this pump thinking it would be the best thing. How’s, this pump is very loud, and the let down takes a really long time to happen. Once I finish pumping I only collect a very small amount of breast milk. If I use another pump for the same amount I collect a lot more. I’ve tried to change out the flanges and nothing works. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Unfortunately, this pump made pumping me for me a hassle.

Worst pump I have ever used. The let down takes forever to happen, they are super loud, they sound like metal hitting metal to the point it wakes up my baby if I pump in the same room. And no matter how long you pump it never empties you out as it should. Don’t waste your money or time with these.

I needed a wearable pump for when I return to work. I had already used my insurance for my spectra so I bought this out of pocket. The device is effective and actually gets my milk flowing faster than my spectra. I stays put underneath my bra and has a nice battery life. The only downfall is that it is quite loud. I have to pump in the other room if my baby is napping. Luckily, I have my own office and can just close the door when I need to pump.

No matter how long I wear this pump it never works is just so frustrating because I wanted to take to work but is just noisy, I pump with this and nothing is coming out and then I tried pumping with different one and it works just perfectly
1 reply from Lansinoh Support team - 2 months ago
Hello Yami, thank you for sharing your feedback! Adjusting to a new pump can take time, especially if you're switching from a different model your body has already adapted to. When using our DiscreetDuo, we recommend wearing a bra that securely holds the pump in place and maintains proper nipple alignment, which is crucial for comfort and performance. We recently launched our new Kindred Bravely for Lansinoh Nursing & Wearable Pumping Bra which is specifically designed for this. Adjust the pump within the bra as needed to ensure the right compression for an effective pumping experience. Additionally, it's important to check that you're using the correct flange size, as this can significantly impact the pump's performance. If you are using too big or too small of a flange, it will impact the suction of the pump. If you need help finding the right flange size, please send an email to customerservice@lansinoh.com. Thank you.

Motor bigger, motor louder, after 2 months with new parts feel like suction only was half of what it was, some are loud when closing milk containers, it's good if use few times a week not all the time, only few parts to wash-( little spot hard to clean if you dont have small bristle brush), but quality over all is just okay, would i buy again-nope, waste of money - should be cheaper

Easy to use, clean, and works amazing! I have not encountered any issue with this pump. My biggest regret is not getting it sooner. I've been using Lansinoh's wearable pump for over a month now, and I am never going back to using the pump with the cord. It is easy to use. I have no technical issues with the pump. I did have issue with the leaking the first few times using this product but once I figured out what I was doing wrong, I never had a leaking issue since, which is to make sure the container is fully shut to not let any air in or out then when pouring the milk, I would drain it out of the spout.

I got this wearable pump, so I could be free to do things around the house while pumping. I’m so impressed! I love this pump and now use it, daily. It’s perfect to take to work and pump on the go. I’ve had this pump for about 1.5 months, and all of a sudden 1 of the pumps is so loud. Like the motor is grinding. No idea how or why it’s doing it. Still pumps good, but I’m afraid the motor is going to die. The pump is still new!

I, like many others in the reviews, selected these through my insurance. I am so disappointed in the quality of these pumps. While they empty me pretty well, they're very uncomfortable even painful at times despite being fitted with flange size by a professional, they're loud, bulky, one of the motors is already dying and part of the cup that "clicks" into the motor broke off with normal use. My son is only 2.5 weeks old and I'm looking at other pumps. I'm so disappointed that I know have to purchase something out of pocket that was previously covered in full by my insurance.
