7-Cup Glass Pitcher
4 out of 5 stars

The reason I chose the rating Good vs. Great is because when filling the pitcher with water it is hard to see when it is almost full til all of a sudden water spills over. It is also a little heavy, although I knew this when I chose the glass vs. plastic and that’s why I purchased the smaller 7-cup vs. the 10-cup for the weight reason. Also, there is no warning on the pitcher when the filters need to be changed. Before switching over to LifeStraw my other name brand water pitcher had a warning on the lid when the filter needed to be changed which was very convenient…I now just mark it on my calendar. Love the Wisteria color I chose, a mix of light purple and gray which is so pretty. The filtered water has no smell and tastes so good and knowing my well-water is being filtered from unhealthy bacteria/chemicals, well that is the most important feature to me, therefore, I would rate “Great” in this case and I would definitely recommend this product!!

I haven’t yet had a chance to use the product but I trust the Lifestraw brand and was thrilled to see this pitcher and filters!

Enjoying the great tasting water. It is a bit slow but usually fills in 20 minutes or so.

Lifestraw has a great philosophy, and I like how our water tastes with the filter. However, it has started leaking, a little at first. Now, it is so bad I had to put a plate under it until I could get a new one. I hope this one doesn’t leak.

I have arthritis and the cap is nearly impossible to get off to put the filter in. I won't be able to use this regularly.

Finally refreshing & clean tasting water! I recently switched from Epic Water Filters but their system did not remove microplastics. The holder for the filter was a little difficult to remove from the glass pitcher but other than that I love the pitcher. The water is filtered at a decent rate and I have a one-gallon glass jug I keep filled with the filtered water so there is never a lack of good tasting filtered water in the house. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Filters well. Water tastes great. It does take a while to fill, and the size is awkward if you want to keep it in the fridge. It’s too tall to fit on a regular fridge shelf. But overall I’m happy with my purchase.

We are happy with the purchase. I think it filters as I would expect . Filtering out the micro plastic was a concern for me . I have an RV and camp May to October and use plastic water bottles which I hate. . I’m looking forward to using this amazing water filter. The water tastes clean too. Highly recommend.

I love the look. I love how easy it is to refill- the lid design is so clever, you just hold it under the stream of water and a special “flapper” lets water in without you having to take the lid off. The set up instructions were very detailed and there were several steps to that, but once you were all set up, easy going forward. I’m a fan.

Cracking on seams

I have purchased three pitchers for myself and children- two of the three have developed cracks on the seams, which cause leaks. They need a silicon cover on the base to protect the seams. I have been pleased with their replacement policy and the water is great when filtered.
7cup glass water pitcher

Do not know when I have 7 cups in the pitcher without using a measuring cup. Does the filter need to be covered by water at all times? My last pitcher did.
Poor design

Filter is good, but the design is awful. Too tall, handle is too high up, holds little water, and filter doesn't allow all of the water to filter. Non-filtered water just sits there and then pours out into your cup when using. Pitch grew green from algae growth due to the cross contaminated water.
