14.5" Lava Lamp Green - LAVA: Modern Style, Electric Powered, No Assembly, Includes 1 Incandescent Bulb

First this item wasn't available in the store, only online. The green wasn't vibrant like the photo and the water was cloudy. Would never buy this product again.

I like it. However, it does have some quality issues. Inside the glass is some builtup clear plastic type particles, mostly near the base of the glass. I thought it was on the outside and could be wipped away, but it is inside and is very noticeable when the light is on. Overall, I do like it.

This gets way too hot, the lava does not flow, and a few months after the holidays (this was a Christmas gift) it “popped” and hasn’t worked since. I believe this is a safety hazard and would recommend avoiding this purchase

it’s great, it’s not like your other lava lamps that are multi colored, it’s a super cool green and works great

It is a shame because lava lamps are so cool. But I have gotten 2 now that are cloudy and the wax is like a brown color not black. I have tried all the online an nothing works.

Worked for an hour and then stopped

Functioned as advertised. The black wax completely blocks the green fluid from glowing. It's practically invisible in a dark room. It needs to be backlit to really appreciate it.

This took awhile, like a few days, I think to actually work. I almost took it back, but eventually it worked great and looked awesome. The bulb died in it so fast compared to the other two I got somewhere else though. So that sucks, but when it works it’s cute.

I really like the black wax. This lamp is the only black color wax I have in my collection. They fluid is a bit cloudy and has cleared a little since I first purchased it. If it clears it will definitely be in top favorites. Black and green is an excellent color combo for a Lava lamp.

It did not work at all. A huge bubble just stayed at the top, even though I didn’t let it overheat. It’s been several days and we’ve tried troubleshooting. We have another lava lamp that works properly so this item is the problem.

I own other lava lamps and this one is the worst I've tried. Out of the box I could tell that the fluid was cloudy and when I turned on the lamp you could hardly see the lava inside. The lamp ran for 3 hours and instantly overheated when all the lava stayed at the top in one big glob. The lamp never flowed, it just stayed in one big ball that rose to the top. Even after it cooled down a normal lava lamp will go flat, but this stayed in one big glob. The bulb also blew after 4-5 hours. Poor quality and not acceptable to be sending people such a bad product. A lava lamp should have clear fluid, it should flow and not stay in one big glob, it shouldn't overheat in less than 6-8 hours, and the bulb should last longer than 5.

This brand-new Target lava lamp is so good, I'm surprised nobody has bought it yet! It's perfect for every climate: A Classroom, A Party, a living room, a bedroom, or even a bathroom! This lava lamp surely is the bomb! I hope you decide on this one!
