Q: I purchased a Soda Stream & 2 yr plan. It wasn't working so I exchanged it to Target. What do I do about the 2 year plan? Can I cancel it, or switch it over to my new one? It was only a matter of a few days.
A: Hello Laura, Protection plans cannot be transferred from one item to another. That’s because each SquareTrade Protection Plan is designed for the specific item it protects. If you’ve returned your original item and purchased a similar item, you will still need to cancel your original protection plan and purchase a new plan for your new item. regards, Ali

Q: Does warranty start after manufacturer warranty stops?
A: Hello Mike, Thank you for contacting SquareTrade. SquareTrade protection plans start from day one. SquareTrade sells extended protection to cover above and beyond what your manufacturer covers. Since SquareTrade is an extended warranty, any existing warranty from a seller or manufacturer does take precedent over the SquareTrade warranty. Q: Hello I recently purchased a vacuum and got this warranty. My pervious vacuum, I have had for about a year and it has broke. So before I open my new vacuum I wanted to make sure I didnt already have this warranty. How do I find this out?
