i had the same problem as one of the review: little white dots that didn't dissolve. Lot: 15421602 Other than that, i really like the product. I hope you can fix this issue.

I have combo 3B/3C natural hair with lots of shrinkage and frizz. I have sampled so many products in the last few months and am happy that I tried this. My search has ended after using this product. The product greatly controls frizz, leaves the hair shiny, and not greasy. I would recommend following the instructions, either apply on wet or damp hair. On day 2/3/etc, I lightly dampen the dry areas and then apply the product - a little goes a long way.

Smells amazing. However, when I rubbed it in my hands, I noticed small solid pieces (flakes?) that took a lot of rubbing to melt down. Even after letting some dry on the back of my hand, it's difficult to get the pieces to disappear. I can't imagine how difficult it would have been to wash out it I applied it without looking! I hope this was just a bad batch.

The Curl Activating Cream was my go to styling product for so many years on my 2a/2b curls. It was perfect! Apply to clean hair, scrunch, and air dry for perfect curls. No need for anything else to get great hold and soft curls, with an easy second day refresh. Not anymore! Like many have said, the new formula has little white chunks that do not melt or disappear. My husband, who never notices anything about my hair, said something. But worst of all, the hold disappears by the end of the day and no amount of refresh helps. I’m still struggling to find something as good. Please change it back!

I have tried so many curly hair products, and none have worked well at all. This one finally did the trick! We are going to try it on my child's hair next.

I loved this product for years, but not as much, after they changed the product. When it was in the tube, it was so creamy and smooth--absolute perfection! Now it has a more grainy texture. Even when I try to really rub it in my hands and warm it up, it doesn't completely smooth. I wish they hadn't changed the formula. Even the new version is better than most other curl products, but I wish they would go back to the old, creamy smooth forumula.

This cream made my twist out so defined, moisturized, bouncy, and soft...for more than a day. It's soft to the touch, has movement, and just makes my hair look and behave the way that I'd like. The whole line is simply stellar.

I have been using Alaffia products for over 7 years, and had never used the curl cream until now. It is fantastic! It keeps my hair hydrated and keeps my frizz under control, while maintaining nearly flawless curls! This is a great product Alaffia! I cannot wait to be able to order more!!!

There are small chucky flecks of product in the cream, that when dry on your hair, gives the impression of dandruff when you don't have dandruff. :( I was hoping the first jar I bought was a fluke. But I tried another jar and the product has the same texture as the first jar. I have 4b/4c hair. And I used to use the wavy to curly. But since it was reformulated I couldn't get any hold from it at all when I used to get at least two days. So I tried this product thinking it would have better hold than the reformulated curly to wavy product since it says on the jar it does. And it does have better hold than the reformulated wavy to curly product. But the hold only lasts for maybe a day and is stringy and crunchy. I do think this product would be good for certain types of hairstyles like if you were sculpting with it or something. But I just need something to run through my after washing to keep the curl definition and frizz at bay. This is not that product.

My hair has never looked this good, even on days two and three. It does wonders for my frizz and my hair feels light and has movement along with good curl definition. This product feels good and smells good. I use it in combination with a homemade leave in spray and hair gel (and alaffia shampoo and conditioner!). Love the natural ingredients and lack of artificial scent!! I have low-porosity type 3a hair.

Holy grail of curly products. Keeps my curls hydrated and shiny all day without being greasy. 10/10 would recommend !
